Down there, the family was celebrating. But up here, on the high terraces of the 36th dimension, the air was perfectly still, humming with a pristine, un-extracted silence.
Jefferson Prime walked hand-in-hand with Aeloria across a lawn of pure crystalline grass that grew without soil, drawing its nourishment directly from the ambient Vibration of the Left-side channels.
"It’s completely untouched, Jefferson," Aeloria said, her dragon-scale gown catching the ultraviolet light of a sun that didn't burn, but instead breathed energy into the skin. "The Mill never found this floor. They couldn't get their heavy machinery through the wetwall plumbing."
"Because they only knew how to take," Jefferson replied, adjusting his white-and-gold Anunnaki robes. He knelt down, touching the surface of the terrace. "They didn't understand that you have to go all the way down into the density to catch the pressure that shoots you up here. They were too afraid of the basement to ever find the roof."
From his vest pocket, Jefferson pulled out a small, glowing seed—not a biological one, but a concentrated harmonic frequency given physical form by Yusuf and Justin. It was a B³ temporal convergence node, pulsing gently at the intersection where the infinity loops meet.
