Jamaican dancers were not on the same level as the west African dancers.

Donโ€™t mess with west Africans when it comes to dance, thatโ€™s the origin of entertainment especially with Nigerians

Afro dancers shut it down ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ Jamaica did good too, but when/why did they start dancing on beats 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8 (all of them)? Maybe I'm too old school ๐Ÿง

@Geechie2ATL

Africa schooled our Caribbean brothers and sisters ๐Ÿ’ฏ all love though. I especially enjoyed the fluffy Afro beats guy, he was a beautiful vibe โค. I was a bit disappointed that the Dancehall side didn't have one of our plus girls, Caribbean fluffy women are some of greatest dancers

MOTHERLAND WINS! ๐Ÿ’ฃ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿงฏ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The Dancehall crew lost because they couldnโ€™t care less about rhythm. This โ€œdancing to the lyricsโ€ sh*t started with Millennials and has to stop. ITS AN ABOMINATION ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

All I see is Africans having fun.. this is not a battle๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

My entire time watching this as a Caribbean man am just saying to myself this shouldnโ€™t be competition. I love the idea of calling it an Exchange. We are one people, I love us.

They are dancing from oppression we dance from freedom and roots. Come and join us please.

@shaltale9723

I am really disappointed with my Jamaican brothers.
I've seen a lot better Jamaicans dancer. From parties to dancing alongside them.
I can also say the same about my African brothers.
I am still happy about all this show, just subscribed.
But I can't lie about the dancers, they are good, but I have seen a lot better from both sides.
This from someone that danced in clubs and created a lot of African dance moves, before they were out there.
โคKEEP GOING GUYS, WE CAN DO BETTER.โค

@dj2lambrini
@

The Africans gon' win every time, I wouldn't even try lol ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚

@predetorhunter-r7l

I am a fan of both genre. The Afro for me in this battle. Dancehall ate the dust.

@taniastan7670
@

Both were amazing in their own way, the Africans definitely had a lot of energy but the Jamaicans were more coordinated and synchronized which just made them more dynamic. They took the cake for meeeeee

Dancehall, mi know the instruction yet for I not to hear one clear dubplate, ya miss a beat which next year ya canntt miss again.

Humble opinion, without knowing the rules.

Well done to all involved ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

The negative lyrics in Jamaican dancehall are not good for our community.

AFRO all day, everyday! We move with our entire body, rhythmically - this is where dance originated - RESPECT! ๐Ÿ’•

I need men to dance like this in the fete
Ong Black people can vibe to everything

@SRHZuri

The Jamaican aura stems from warriors and overcomers. The vibe behind these dance moves are a reflection of the likes of Queen nanny! Dutty Bukmon itโ€™s almost as if fighting or going to war! In an art form! Itโ€™s warriors military style.

Great to see the west African dancers their moves are like a celebration of the victory! We still here Africa is the earth. Proud Jamaican here stolen from Ghana merge with my Tanio enter the Jamaican ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ army! Soliders we deyahhhh

@MindfulnessOneHere

Oeeeh I loved watching this. Both different energies!! Both straight fayaaa ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

There where you have a lot of social steps in both dance styles, the dancehall group used that more!! Which was so enjoyable to watch ๐Ÿ˜ solo parts felt similar tho ๐Ÿ‘€ and dancehall has a lot other types of songs that represented ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ

group Africa did it ohhhhhh๐Ÿ˜ and ehmeeeehhh how can you not love african music๐Ÿ˜ the diversity and all the different styles that Africa represents were represented here ohhh! The Gyall dem also added alot of flavour to it , ๐Ÿ˜โ˜€๏ธ!

AndI saw alot of crazy tricks

Yeah fyah Battle and so Intresting to see the difference in energy of music ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

@EmpressEmpowa
@

Afro killed it

@hassangingi7033

Afros had the legs, Jamaicans had the hands and they both rep the rest of body ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’• I love the energy from both cultures.
