@elkhunter76Taku, you must have some Jomon genes lurking somewhere in your genome. The Jomon people were the first inhabitants of Japan starting around 12,000 years ago after the last ice age. They were hunter-gatherers, people who fished, hunted and foraged for food for over 10,000 years before the Yayoi people started migrating from continental Asia through the Korean peninsula about 3,000 - 4,000 years ago. The Yayoi brought rice farming and transformed Japan from a hunter-gatherer culture to an agricultural culture. The Jomon and Yayoi peoples mixed, and the Jomon genetic legacy still exists. Dude, to me, you're a throwback with some distant Jomon ancestors. がんばって!
@rickardanderson4804its called a zebra midge.
@timdubord1455Hey Taku,Jocelyn and Roscoe too 👋,what a 😍 spot!

Happy Trails ❤❤❤
JO JO IN VT ⛈️
When you're going to be fly fishing, look around the lake and the edge of the water for bugs, worms, slugs, whatever you find, see if you have a fly or lure that looks like one of those bugs and fish with that :)
@utahjagI’m a huge fly fishermen so love seeing you fly fish Toku ! So sick
@gargars_island_fishing739... Give fish treat to Roscoe , then step away to rinse hands .... surprised anything left in pot when you returned ..... Agree , younger generations minds are damaged from tech exposure ... Time in Nature should be a required MUST !! ...
@rockytopwrangler2069Leach patterns “wooly bugger” will work for any trout anywhere lol
@immortallis2365"the strong hand" LoL
@GoldenGecko.. 350 ft. to 10,000 ft. Wow .. really need to take 1 preferred 2 days to acclimate , at least in trailhead area ( still high but place to rest before putting body to work).. lungs , blood and body will thank you ...
... yes ,, dark colored wooly bugger's work well at Colo. high lakes .... any lake that close to trailhead can be crowded , especially on weekends but beautiful scenery ....
.. very nice male spawning cutthroat ... ..... Hey ,, Careful there ,, this is a family show ,, NO bone sucking .... .... I have cooked many shore lunches , but never boiled fish ,, generally fry in butter or oil , sometimes breaded with corn meal .... Have had trout with ramen but fried fish first before mixing ,,, Trout is Trout ,, but IMO , Brookies and Browns are the best !! (pink meat) sim. to salman ...always another way I guess ... always remove bones before eating ,, one of the small thin rib bone in my throat and I'm done with it all .... Fork or chop stick pressure above spine , easy pull and all bone structure comes right out cleanly ...
... New to channel ... Need to see more .... Definitely subbed ...
Lmao 😂 “ That’s my strong arm “
@SoteroG5o9Taku, i swear the best thing you did this year was getting the vortalex posture corrector.. your posture has improved SO MUCH 😭 Just look at ur vids from 2-3 weeks ago.. huge difference
