The Mets infield has been suspect all season. Early on Lindor was already in a fog, Bichette has no arm strength, Vientos is no first baseman, and Semien is cooked. Baty has looked good though at the hot corner. Young should have the job at first base. Outfield looks great. Stearn if you're willing to trade away Pete Alonso then you should be willing to trade away Francisco Lindor. We need a true pitching corps (goodbye Kodai), we need a legit replacement for Jeff McNeil's versatility, and we need athleticism on the bases. Speed. Intelligence. Fearlessness. One thing I give Soto credit is that when he's on base the guy uses everything he has to keep advancing.
