On 4-2-26 I bought Abib 2 pk eye serum patches at $7 off regular price of $26.99. Today they are being discontinued with a death star and priced at original $26.99. What gives?? Is it normal yo to raise the price when discontinuing rather than lowering the price?

I find Costco off-putting. They have a bouncer who keeps you out if you don’t have a member card. I asked a friend to take me to Costco and they refused to left me check out using the friend’s card. I have a Sam’s membership and I’ve never had problems bringing friends and they check using my card. A few Kirkland items are nicer than their Members Mark cousins, but not enough to make the hassle of Costco worth it.

Before I went to Costco with my friend, I called to ask if they had a trial membership. The woman on the phone said “yes, you can come in, sign up, and look at the products, but you aren’t allowed to buy anything.” That’s ridiculous. Yes, I know you can cancel a Costco membership for a pro-rated refund, but that is above by friction threshold.

At my Winchester,Va. Costco on the Ruffles chips they have the cheddar and sour cream chips for awhile. Then they replace it with the plain Ruffles. Then they go back to the cheddar and sour cream chips.

Did Costco discontinue the Kirkland Allergy Medicine? It has a 600 count of pink pills in a small clear bottle. It's generic for Benadryl @ 4.99. $5 a bottle for 600 pills is a crazy good deal. I haven't seen it in the San Diego location where I shop for 2 months. It has always been there.

I'm going to guess that Kirkland has discontinued their chocolate chips because they don't want their brand tied to the new version of chocolate (that I've heard tastes disgusting) that candy companies are now using. They're making artificial flavored chocolate out of seed oils and cocoa flavoring. And I'm guessing, again, that blackforest supplements are buying up all the cocoa from Africa to make their cocoa flavinoid supplements. I totally saw all of that coming 6 months ago when the majority of influencers started promoting the BF (miracle) supplement of the year 😅.

It really is a bummer because chocolate bars are going to be a thing of the past or become so expensive that only the rich will be able to afford a real chocilate bar.

Tariffs should NOT be an issue for beef in America. Break up the mega-processor monopoly and bring back local processors so our local ranchers can process and sell their beef locally. Easy fix.
