I love PBD but this is not a surprise. I worked for stock brokers who ran a mortgage firm and it's all about making money and covering up the trail. You hire people who know nothing and teach them to co-call and build leads to hand it over to a senior loan officer and get people to refinance their homes. It was legit but borderline crooks.
