I always have difficult putting on my colored lenses
But then this man saying there can be a wrong & right way to put them on.
Despite I wasn't using contacts I was still curious about it
I then put on a pair I haven't used yet and I did it first try.
All my anger when I couldn't put them on is just because im stupid

I had no problems getting mine in years ago, both eyes, 2nd or 3rd try, no biggie. My issue and still remains PTSD getting them out! Doc had to tape my eyes open because they rolled almost to the back of my globes. Haha not that bad but was very unsettling.
NOTE: For the best success with contacts, It is in your advantage to first go through a contact lens fitting class at either your local eye clinic or optical for professional guidance.
How to put in contacts in
I tried many ways and when they finally got in, my eye hurt so much i immediately tried to get them out. Maybe these ain't for me
1. Wash your hands
2. Dry your hands with a lint free cloth
Thank god for a wife that has worn contactsā¦ Iāve struggled for the first few days
3. Remove lens from packing
4. Inspect the contact lens for defects

5. Check the lens is not Inside Out
6. Use fingers to control eyelids to prevent blinking
Almost threw up watching this
7. Gently place lens onto the eye
8. Blink a few times and allow the lens to settle.
I was stuck at the doctors office for over an hour trying to get them out of my eyes. They wouldnāt let me go š

Note: It is best to have short fingernails as it will make the removal process easier. Long fingernails puts you at higher risk of a corneal abrasion.
the biggest issue for me is that when I place the contact lens in my eye it just stays on my finger.
Anyone got tips on how to make sure it stays on your eye instead?
It is also best to remove make up before putting in or taking out contacts as the makeup can stick to the lenses (hard to remove)

I am new to contacts and the problem I was having is the lens sticking to my finger and not my eye. I found that after putting to lens on my eye, I blink slowly which holds the lens to my eye and my finger naturally moves away.

I went to get contacts maybe a year ago but for me u have to get them in first before u actually get to take them home. I got it in one eye but couldn't get it in the other. I gave up and now I'm trying again but I managed to get them in a couple times they just fold and idk what to do about that

@James-hp5txokay i got them in godblessā¦ ive found it works better for me if i pull back my eyelashes hard with one hand's pointer and thumb and then tap it on with my other hand's pointer, rather than using both hands to open the eye
