Got chicken breasts from Aldi today. Making Buffalo chicken and rice, chicken salad, chicken quesadillas, and chicken alouette. Not back to back of course. Now you’ve got me hankering for butter chicken. Sam’s has one I’d like to try. The larger chicken pack was close in price to the small because of the price per pound, so I went big and went home. 😜🥘💙

I finally found the langostino tails at a different Aldi! Feels like I won on a game show. Gonna make cheddar bay seafood pot pie with them and some shrimp and scallops. 🥘💙

I’m extremely anal about checking every single egg. Had enough of getting them home and finding 1 or 2 stuck in the carton. I pull them all out and look around them. 🥘💙

I don't care for the bagel slims, they are always so dry. Maybe I will give the protein ones a try.

Aldi same on you raising prices and shrinking in product not just bagels a lot of stuff you need to do a video on this that way I have not been going so often regularly grocery better with sales and not shrinking

My sister and I always discuss your Aldi shopping hauls because we are both Aldi shoppers. She frequently mentions that she feels you favor Elsie so much over your other kids. I disagreed, but decided to prove her wrong. I counted the number of times you mention your kids during this video. Cal=11, but mostly related to school supplies so that’s not usual, Mila=2, Elsie=21. Don’t just think I have too much time on my hands—I was waiting for an appointment and listened on 2x normal speed.

I had to LOL while reading your weekly meal plan. 30-something years ago, the hubby and I began driving up to PA to visit his parents. Having been a picky eater all my life, I was really anxious about all the new foods that I was about to be subjected to. I'd heard that my MIL was a great cook, but I didn't recognize any of the dishes the hubby had mentioned. My FIL's family immigrated from Germany, and my MIL was raised in an area that was heavily populated by Amish families. Their meals usually reflected one category or the other. The week went fine, and I thoroughly enjoyed broadening my palate, right up until my MIL announced that we'd be having "mussgoes" for dinner that night. I panicked. What the heck was a mussgo, and how could I get out of eating it?! I was SO relieved to finally find out that she'd actually said, "MUST GOES", which was what they called Leftovers. We do the same now. And if we serve breakfast for an evening meal, it's called Brupper. :D Love watching your Aldi videos!

My local Aldi in MN had thin sliced chicken breasts 50% off. Kwik Trip (gas station/convenience store) has eggs 2 for $1...

I have never tried that aqua gel however I know Dollar tree carries something called HydroPlus water gel and it’s a dupe for a more expensive brand. I have been liking it, especially put in the refrigerator after being in the sun. May be worth a try for $1.25. If you have tried the Dollar tree one I would be interested in knowing if you like that Aldi version better. 😊

It kinda makes me sad seeing the school shopping section. My daughter graduated high school last month and it’s so bittersweet. The time flew by so quickly. On a side note, that purple locker was super cute. 😂

Great job on Aldi total. Have to note only 1 fresh meat (bacon prepared meat excluded) was on the list.
So, week to week shoppers who don't have stocked meat, won't get away with such a low total.

My Aldi had watermelon and I got a 50% off chicken! Not any other red stickers. My haul was small and they were doing some refrigeration work by the cucumbers so couldn't get any. Thanks for your video have a great wk and see you on Wednesday.
