@phillyb-s4pI've bought this album in 2000 directly after hearing "yellow" on the radio. My young wife at the time thought the music was absolutely rubbish, a telltale sign.
The Coldplay sound is already here, Chris Martin's voice, the guitar sound, dreamy, rocky, musically. Their best albums Rush of blood, X & Y and Viva la Vida were just to come.
Coldplay before they went all pretentious.
