CNBC Panel EXPLODES Over AI Bubble Debate
Video Overview & Insights
Krystal and Emily discuss a CNBC panel exploding on a debate over AI bubble risks.
Just because AI tech can apparently get better results than human intelligence doesnât mean itâs advancing knowledge and technology. The direction is critical.
A conscious civilization is where we should be headed but the nature of mankind keeps that state out of view. The bellybutton blocks that horizon.

Breaking points showing again that they donât know about AI, and I donât mean because theyâre being doomer, but their claim that Chinese models are âopen sourceâ and that you can just download one and run it with some consumer hardware you have laying around, and match the performance of frontier labs

The irony is that China wonât leave their people behind because theyâre communists. On the other hand capitalists will let society starve and die for money.

I think ai will decline by 50% or more eventually. The only question is does it happen now or does it happen ten years from now after going up a ton before, so that it is still a good investment now.

Grantham's funds invest in big tech..he doesnt practice what he preaches and the people that actually listen to what he says and not what he does have missed out for decades
@Xmj202The man doesnât understand crypto and he doesnât understand AI but he does understand bubbles.
@rollyon9415Joe seems like a perma bull cheerleader for the wealthy elites and was probably hired to do exactly that. He is always pushing against the idea that there are any issues in the market. If our government leaders werenât spending like drunken fools, Jeremy Grantham would have been right the entire time. Irresponsible spending to create inflation has ruled the day but it has created a weaker America and unsustainable situation. Itâs the epic battle of good versus evil. Create inflation and steal from the poor and middle class or have low inflation and actually have to work for your money, but everyone has good purchasing power. Joe appears to be a fan of anything that allows him to work less and take advantage of others mindset.
@AndyH84Democrats & Republicans are in their own bubble in their unabashed promotion of (their own) economic interests. The AI bubble will pop and splatter all over them.
@suedavis17818:40 the literary fiction talking point is pure propaganda. It was one fiction contest in a small town Britain. The best place to look for AI detection in fiction is sci-fi publications because they still pay for speculative work meaning the editors are practiced in identifying AI works.
@ianbelanger7459As Ed would say: number go up!!!
@latulip100Emily legit looks like butters from South Park.
@ScarletSqueekyThese CNBC idiots have been at this for years .always chilling for the street.
@raysousa9667Not to mention the data center calamity
@jrl6690Your the exit liquidity
@shermanbabb7186Crypto is BS, it was supposed to be a medium of exchange, never an investment vehicle! Greed has made crypto crap and is doing the same to A.I.!
@nbrown5907Some of the booster-talk here (like the casual claim that AI is "writing literature" and "winning prizes", etc) is not just wholly untruthful but is actually laughable. It is certainly doing nothing like this - not even close. What is does do is entirely reactive and interactive, and requires a continual feedback loop from a human operator, moreover one who has a certain level of editorial competence. Yes, sure, it is clear that AI has potential as a labour-saving tool in many applications - provided it can be made just a little more reliable and non-hallucinatory than it is now. And yes, it could potentially boost productivity - although evidence from early adopters like Uber seem to indicate there is currently no evidence at all of any ROI for their AI use. The biggest problem is that it looks increasingly dubious whether it will be economical, given the massive energy and hardware requirements of AI service providers like Anthropic or OpenAI. No corporate customer is going to be prepared to pay these AI-providers multiple thousands of dollars per employee per month if the only return is to gain a few hundred dollars worth of cost-savings and/or boosted productivity per employee per month! Profitability will always be the bottom line.
@RogerJames010The Govt holding back full release of these models have nothing, repeat nothing to do with national security or safety. The Chinese open source models can find the same cyber security flaws as the best Methos5. The reason for holding them back is to help convince Americans that our AI is significantly better instead of being roughly the same. The two trillion dollar AI companies are in reality worth close to zero. But their crash will bring the global economy down. But much more important, it means early investors in these companies will see their 1.8 Trillion in paper profits evaporate.
@mgronich948Am I crazy or whereâs saagar been?
@colindavidson6483This video is so far off in parts it's kind of laughable if you are un the industry.
@bobbab5759Oh, donât worry. When the rugpull happens, and everyone realizes that AI is just a glorified chatbot that can do nothing useful weâll already be midway into a nuclear holocaust and nobody will have time to care.
@intricaticWhat has crypto to do with AI, though? Totally different fields.
@mimavox-sweYou CAN NOT trust "Ai" to produce accurate results ever. It's not even how GPT works. It's a party trick you can run on a local PC.
@DjangoJuniorsGuys a turd! Joe was entirely right if this guys clients listened to him the last 29 yrs theyâd done terrible!
@UneekLuxuryThe host on this show is a complete and utter clown.
@oneshot4826The only thing crypto was ever good for was money laundering
@Charlestonchew3So Kevin Oleary is worried about the Chinese telling your kids what to eat for breakfast.....
Meanwhile corporate America and the FDA have been marketing nutritional lies to our kids for 60+ years! China is already controlling your kids on Social Media, they dont need AI.
Pull the plug! Back to darkness!
I lose brain cells listening to these 2.
But it is funny watching them pretend to know what theyâre talking about.
I know there is not going to be a job for me! I wouldnât train something thatâs going to take my job!
@MySkinnydipCrypto is a SCAM. Those who are history fan know about the "Tulip Mania" or the "Tulip Craze". That was the first recorded buble.
@iq-ride9329"Proof of unnecessary work shouldn't be worth a bucket of warm spit" is bars. LMAO
@middle_pickupThat guy is totally correct about bitcoin! It's a ponzi scheme. What happens to your millions in bitcoin if there's an emp attack that destroys computer data whether is cloud based od data center. Same with these hugh data centers, just imagine the loss if one is attacked and destroyed.
@neilschmid4991Is it me or is Emily trying to be on the fence so Krystal won't make her sound silly? Krystal is correct, US Ai is over invested and over priced compared to that of China, 10s of millions compared to US 100s of Billions.
@mdsoulsoundsOh no an open source AI. That's how it needs to be open to everyone. There will still be ways to make a lot of money in this industry. But you need it to be free and open no one controlling it. Something that America should have done in the first place. But no these corporations and our government are the authoritarians you know this is going on. And you say nothing. So you play Both Sides. That's smart for a girl. Do you know what you need? I think you know you naughty girl.đ
@williamtalbot9864If Krystal had her way we'd be as irrelevant as Europe in the AI race.
@PowersVideoAIThe most likely effect of AI will be a 20-30% reduction in white collar positions over the next 5 years. That will mean no raises, no promotions, and new college grads will be unemployable.
@gordongekko2781Let it pop, there I a K shaped economy a pop wonât hurt us
@jaredyoung5353If they 'replace 50% of workers with AI', they destroy 50% of consumer demand for their products. You need paid employees to buy products đ¤ˇââď¸ The rail road/ship shock only affected one sector of the economy, transport, so it is not comparable.
@gerdapiprek4841Klkrystal
@kirkcinnamon8467The first part of the video is actually about crypto. The problem with people discuss AI is they only give their point of view. If they are wrong no one hold them accountable. They just make predictions with no consequences.
@yihe126No, these companies are not too big to fail. We can do perfectly fine without them.
@BlackberryforpresidentSomebody tell this old fart the dollar is backed by nothing.
@bulletpoints556It does not produce anything better than a human. Itâs a statistical language program. It can only create from what humans have already done. When humans stop producing or decline in quality, AI content will decline with it. This is a useless tech being pushed on us by low IQ sociopathic wealthy people who are playing a game for points.
@FirstNameLastName-wt5toThe fact that everyone is warning about it being a bubble means it probably isnt a bubble... if its really a bubble the plebs arent supposed to know until its too late. Them telling you it could be a bubble is a tactic to get you to sell. Funny they want y'all in spacex holding those bags when they drop them. lmao
@lanceres5spdFrom a historical perspective, it would be incorrect to say that technology hasn't replaced human intellect/skill. Think of all the skilled artisans & trades lost to mass production methods.

@TheAffirmationSpotJoe Keirnan is a Trump ass kisser đĄ
@duncanbirnie4158Human verified content will be more valuable even with error over AI. Completely different but still, consider diamonds. Flawed natural was more valuable over lab made despite lab perfection. My point is become human and you will prosper. Donât compete with AI. Demand it do our work and demand humans be free and art driven. Demand it. AI is here. Now work AI.
