I listened to this while watching my younger siblings, which I usually dislike doing.... but it felt different. Anyone who complains about their siblings.... siblings are blessings. I'd rather risk everything for them than live without them. Watching them laugh and play makes me miss the old days. You never really realize how much fun you had as a kid until you're not a kid anymore. Being with my siblings is the only way I feel truly young again. 💜

When I hear this song, it reminds me of the laughs I had with my Lolo(Grandpa). He passed away 3 years ago. He was always nice to everyone and prioritized his loved ones before himself. I still miss him, he was the wisest man I’d ever met. I hope to see him when I die when I’m old. Jesus loves you guys. (I’m tearing up as I’m writing this)

I am enough I just don't see it. My girlfriend had told me I'm enough. My mom always tells me I'm enough. My grandmother tells me I'm enough. But I don't see it. I don't see how any of them could love someone like me. I wish I still lived in that one part of Texas in that specific house just 3 year old me and the time my sisters actually hung out with me. I wish I was still young and innocent as I was back then. I hope too one day wake up and this all be a dream.

@Glody_ndeboI remember when i was younger playing old cod with my dad on the 360 split screen town or kino i haven't done it in years with him i really do miss those timesi remember when i was younger and he would always crap on me and im almost 18 and last time we ever played was probably 5 years ago i just wish i could do it again
@DARTHSNIGHTThis music gives me mixed emotions. I want to go back in time ofc for the childhood we 90s and 2000-2005 kids had, but I want to go back for the way things were. Everyone was there, parents had less pressure, everyone was living together, everyone would go for a trip together. Those were the times we kids did not know what a "pressure" or "burden" was. But ofc, things cannot remain the same for long time; someone had to leave, someone had to break it off. anywyas, nostalgia will always kiill me. I will always cry over this music. we really took childhood for grantee
@rageiniIt really helps me to sleep...
@IbzerIbtissam-xd4bwГениальная музыка. Прям слов нет. Величайшая!!!
@МобиДик-о4кPuedo oír estos sonidos eternamente...🌨
@ArielReyesAcero"I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was 12."
@MichaelS1991-y2cI miss who I was when I was younger….
@ThegoatgogetioI wish I had someone to really talk to and get my emotions out.
@ShamiaraLazardI want to cry everyday because I’m really blessed been save multiple time by the Lord himself , and went through a lot in my childhood.
@ShamiaraLazardNever really fails. Clips of this song will show up so often oddly doesn't seem to lose it's impact with the scenes it gets paired with. Especially when so much depicted wasn't part of one's past even if from the scene eras.
@RuralTownerUnfortunately, our childhood never comes back; that’s why I say we should make the most of it—so that later on, we can look back and see that we truly lived and were genuinely happy. After all, we only have one life. And yes, sometimes nostalgia hits when remembering all of that—man, it’s beautiful to look back on. I really wish I could be a child again.
@david_vieirazThis reminds me of our childhood from preschool to 5th grade, middle school, and high school years.
I was living in my hometown until I was ten, then moved to another city, where I started my 5th grade to senior year. Only sad part is, I missed my friends that i lived in Milwaukee and all of the fun stuff. When I moved to the new city, making new friends or possibly hang out with someone is a challenge cause I have a speech impediment
it’s a perfect soundtrack for Poppy playtime, Chapter five
@IlovebangchanwdymYou haven't hugged that teddy bear in fifteen years. You can never be seven again. You haven't eaten halloween candy from a plastic jack o' lantern. There wasn't any crepe paper or balloons at your last birthday. No stockings at your last christmas. You don't own a bicycle, or a scooter with tassels, or even a box of colored sidewalk chalk. You don't know what sort of weeds and plants grow between the grasses in your backyard because you don't cut them up with rusty pink scissors and cook them into rotten stews and witches brews. You forgot how to do a backflip on a trampoline but it doesn't matter because you don't have a trampoline and your back hurts all the time anyway.
Do you get it yet? Do you hear me? Do you know that you can never be seven again? You must understand this. It is vital that you understand this. You will never be seven again.
But please, for the love of God, go to your parent's house and bring your old, stitched-up stuffed bear back to your apartment, and make sure he can breathe when you hold him at night. Please buy the king sized snickers bars for the kids on Halloween, and the evening before you turn 28, please spend three hours blowing up balloons until you can't see the floor anymore. Please get on your creaking knees, in the middle of your sizzling sidewalk in July and draw a whole city, out of chalk, and water, and remember to throw out your cauldron of weeds and dirt tea before the whole garage smells. Please. Cry, and cry, and try to dance, and do it terribly, and eat a red flavored popsicle, and let the stain of it drip down your chin. Please don't stop on life's account, or on mine. The years are gone, and you can never be twenty-seven again.
For me this track is not only about childhood. It's about everything you lost, everything you'll never get back, everything that happened the last time in your life

@TaniaStarRblxThis would be such a good song for yoga
@tadhgquinlan7265Anyone else born in 1994?
-Fifth grade would have been around 2004-2005.
-We had Math and Science for one half of the day, then History and English.
-Recess seemed like it went on forever; playing hide and seek, tag, freeze tag, climbing the monkey bars, baseball, football, pretending we had lightsaber fights, sitting under trees, hiding under tires, getting in trouble and hiding from teachers, swinging on swingsets and avoiding our bullies, talking to eachother in those rudimentary pipe-phones.
-Earning points in music class, denoted by arbitrary chips; Harry Potter style. Learning "Who Killed Cock Robin" "Pick a Bale of Cotton" "Freré Jacques", and "Ring around the rosie". Trying out for choir by singing "Row your boat"
-Field day, and learning to make those weird-smelling wrist bracelets out of glue.
-Gym class and playing with the huge parachute. As well as riding around on yiur stomach on those little boards.
-Watching "Little House on the Prairie", and other movies on VHS.
-Reading, "Sideways Stories from Wayside School", "The Green Ribbon", "The Black Lagoon" series, "Scary Stories to tell in the dark", and "Moonlight Animals".
-Learning simple geometry with those blue, 3D shapes. (I was obsessed with the blue sphere and stole one)?
-Bookfair, (especially when Harry Potter was HUGE). Everyone also wanted The Guiness Book of World Records.
-Getting your first flip phone (I still remember my first phone number, 21 years later). Even had a pull-out antenna.
-Watching lectures on the overhead projector, or learning on real chalkboards; right before whiteboards took over everything.
-Going on field trips to random places, like the zoo, or the high school planetarium, or a butterfly sanctuary, or a random park where some lady taught you about violins.
-Being obsessed with who could climb highest on "the rope" in gym class. For us, it was who could touch the ceiling. One of my earliest memories was my best friend climbing it all the way and touching the ceiling. I thought he was so cool for it.
-Share your memories people. I will listen. ❤
I miss when i was happier, when i wasnt sad and worried, when i felt loved in times of hopelessness, when i didnt even know what depression was, i wanna go back and make different choices..maybe id be happier, but then i think of all the goodness God has given me in my life and then i start regretting my feelings..but God also gave me such a great life when i was a child, i know i felt alot safer thats for sure..even if growing up slowly started to suck, i could go back and be better and maybe id feel better now? Maybe its a good thing that thats impossible, but it feels good to remember, like a somber sleep
@matthewflores4183When we lived with my dads friend and all the things I did with my grandma
@Tracipitsch1314This is bringing back Maui vibes from when I was younger and stranger things
@Tracipitsch1314I’m crying so hard
@Tracipitsch1314Everything was ruined when the person with me the entire time started hitting and scratching me
@Stick_and_stoneI go back and listen to this from time to time. I was born in 89 and grew up in the 90s. Lived in a court with kids that were mine and my brother’s age (he was born in 86). Nothing like living in a court with a basketball hoop in it and having like 3-6 of us playing at all times with said basketball hoop along with our bikes, rollerblades or just playing kids games.
We all went our separate ways but thankfully we’re all still alive.
I struggle with manic stress and anxiety I play this when im tired an about to sleep I wake up so much lighter and refreshed
@Rhys-u2d😔🤧 please return childhood
