We are a couple of old school guys that have been creating and recording together since 1972!
Now we live in different states and use two TASCAM DP-32's in our home recording studio's to record our original music by sending SD cards back and forth (I said we were old school) then we post it on our YouTube channel.
We do it for fun and keeping our friendship alive despite the miles between us.
We like to change the songwriting process for each album we record to keep things fresh and expand our songwriting skills into new places.
We even made a video showing our songwriting and recording process for the current album we are working on.

@VictorMirchiI honestly think Charlie is what is wrong with songwriting. I don't think he is very good at all to be honest. He is busy trying to make songs, where the best songwriters don't try, it just comes to them, and the songs they write are natural. Charlie is a songwriter who forces things.
He also comes off smug and douchey.

I love getting ideas out right away but also letting your songs age and mature is a very real thing. You can crack open a beer anytime. But aged wine? You need to let it sit in a dark place and gather dust. Not saying that this is the only method... But most of the time, you're going to look back on your work and be sorely disappointed. Or, even worse, embarrassed. Therefore, looking back on a song you haven't released yet can make it flourish into something you'll never be disappointed in ... Food for thought.
