Knew it was ransom because the dog clue. Marta went up the secrete windows , but there was dog barking the other night when we can clearly see that's nto the case with marta. So someone else did it. It was ransom both as a foreshadowing that the dogs didn't like him, btu also because he left early

You immediately fixating on Linda as the murderer is hilarious ngl, she and Meg are the two decent people until they reveal/betray their principles. Would love to see you try to solve Glass Onion and Wake Up Dead Man too!

Not trying to brag or anything but the first time I saw Knives Out, I was expecting a murder mystery, so I expected there to be a "real" killer from the start. So the whole time I thought that Ransom was the obvious choice so I was actually really disappointed when he was the real killer. I interpreted the subversion as "you never would guess the obvious killer is actually the killer". I wish I could erase my brain and watch it again. I really feel like I'm missing out, people love this movie.

I did. It's really quite easy. There are only 3 actual characters in the movie, and 2 of them are main protagonists. The other is Chris Evans. They get the most screen time. I've also solved the two subsequent movies with similar methods; who gets the most time and is not a protagonist or Blanc? They did it.

This movie had been spoiled to me about ransom being the one to do it so i never watched it. I just finished watching it and it still amazed me. I was trying to figure it out while watching it but i was so immersed into the movie i just enjoued it instead

I find it funny how you glazed over/chalked it up to Marta’s imagination the scene where Harlan literally slits his own throat. I’m not sure how you assumed that considering every other flashback scene shown in the movie was the truth 😭. Ransom had the INTENT to kill Harlan, but Harlan ultimately committed suicide. What condemned Ransom was confessing to Fran’s murder.

I also think it’s worth mentioning that the movie is playing on Chris Evan’s image given at the time of the release he is fresh off playing Captain America so a lot of viewers subconsciously won’t think it would be him

You need to do this series again with the sequels lol. they are also great for this kind of content.

I just randomly stumbled on your video, because I like the movie and your video idea is a great promise, and I thoroughly enjoyed this. But what is even better: you have a lot in common with a great friend of mine, who unfortunately lives far away now and we lost touch a bit, but who I still admire. The hair color is just one thing, but your looks and especially your laugh is almost identical. Don't worry, he's not your long lost German brother - just similar. And it made me reminisce and I'll make sure to reach out to him later today.
