Do you like this idea? Are there things I could change? let me know or liking the video is a good indication you want more of this! :D
Hi Umbrellas! Today we watch Knives Out and I give you my possible theories/motives on who I think the killer is before they reveal it. Love you all and I appreciate you guys so much!!

I hope Welchy does the other Knives Out films too

Another huge indication that Harlen has never been dosed is that...he doesn't at all act like it. If you get 100m of morphine in your system, you are going loopy so quickly. But he acts rational and controlled throughout the entire ordeal.

While I do feel for Meg a little (because she’s a product of her environment and she doesn’t do much wrong in the movie), I just want to point out she’s not overall “lovely”. In the end she’s mostly just a performative leftist who, when it comes down to it, would have her own back first. The scene where she calls Marta proves this. Literally as soon as she hears Marta’s going to give her money, she hangs up.

The first time I saw the movie, I was hardcore suspecting Ransom due to what I saw as a very clever camera move very early in the movie. It's not on Netflix anymore, so I can't remember exactly what happens, but at some point, Harlen is talking, and a knife on a desk passes over his throat and points to Ransom or something. I remember literally chuckling and being like. "Welp, I'm taking that as a hint."

I'm not sure I agree with you about Meg. Meg was nice to Marta...but only while she thought Marta was the beneath her. She really did want to help Marta while she thought she was rich, but as soon as Marta had the money, she asked for it back. If they really were friends, why wouldn't she believe Marta would help her out with her college? Friends help each other, and I don't think Meg really saw Marta as a friend

I see this movie as subverting the audience expectations of murder mystery: not only are we told who did it immediately, but the assumed guilty party cannot lie and is actively subverting the investigation. Johnson’s choices here were a stroke of brilliance.
Glass Onion was okay, and Wake Up Dead Man I thought was better, at least on-par with Knives Out.
WHY DO I CALL MY FANS UMBRELLAS?
Umbrellas is an amazing community that’s growing by strength everyday cause we all like to have a laugh at awful jokes. I decided on Umbrellas because I didn’t want a typical cringey play-off word of my name. So UMBRELLAS WAS BORN. TOGETHER WE CAN OVERCOME ANY STORM BECAUSE WE ARE A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH. So thanks for watching and to become an UMBRELLA just subscribe!
The Scottish guy wants to talk shit about not understanding an accent?
SHARE IF YOU ENJOYED! (do it or you hate dogs)
Welchy consistently saying stepfather and stepson when he means father-in-law and son-in-law is so distracting.

7:22 "Do you love him or do you murder him?" thats where i clicked subscribe
@PeterWhittamThis video unfortunately relies on the faulty premsie that Knives Out makes a lick of sense. it is such a horrible mystery story man...
@xolotltoloxYou need to watch the 3rd one
@ajschwartz3924are you even using that mic xd
@Gabriel_UltrakillKnew it was ransom because the dog clue. Marta went up the secrete windows , but there was dog barking the other night when we can clearly see that's nto the case with marta. So someone else did it. It was ransom both as a foreshadowing that the dogs didn't like him, btu also because he left early
@mortexiaYou immediately fixating on Linda as the murderer is hilarious ngl, she and Meg are the two decent people until they reveal/betray their principles. Would love to see you try to solve Glass Onion and Wake Up Dead Man too!
@vanguardbreaker8826The fact I was watching chase bridges right before you is hilarious
@KatelynPitman-k6hThis is the first video of yours I've watched and really love the format!! I would love for you to react to the most recent Knives Out, the one in the church (much better than Glass Onion imo!) keep up the good work :)
@leonxxr-mg7This was fun. Ty
@BlackADHDcoachYour microphone quality is absolute garbage, holy shi fix that bro. Unwatchable
@cristian4545bro nice video but what is your accent man, even closed captions had a hard time xDD
@senorbenny5773Meg's writing is so good because I've seen so many people get fooled into thinking she's a good person. She's definitely not but it's much more subtle than the other family members.
@ArunaUtdBritish Owen Wilson and matthew McConaughey's son
@tabley1873You have to do the other movies now!!
@lozinthestacksThe other 2 movies in the series are actually really good as well. "Glass Onion" and "Wake up dead man" the latter being better in my opinion.
@BravoCheesecake17:06 nope. We don't take him. He's no furry.
@jacl8773if marta had blood on her shoe why wouldn’t she have seen him take his own life tho
@milosummers2779Not trying to brag or anything but the first time I saw Knives Out, I was expecting a murder mystery, so I expected there to be a "real" killer from the start. So the whole time I thought that Ransom was the obvious choice so I was actually really disappointed when he was the real killer. I interpreted the subversion as "you never would guess the obvious killer is actually the killer". I wish I could erase my brain and watch it again. I really feel like I'm missing out, people love this movie.
@Td0g4261"arent you in america"
... what???? isnt that the most english setting ever brought to film?
I figured it out the moments the dogs barked at Ransom :D
@BenniiFYou should watch the next 2 movie with Benoit! Glass Onion and Wake Up Dead Man!
@HazyDazieI'm a cheater. Whoever is the most famous actor is the murderer in a murder mystery.
@alanboodibabudaho9789The funny thing about this movie is the amount of denial people have about Harlan slitting his own throat.
@vidserventYou’re not the usual guy…
@saucerbosser6975that was fun
@Vmcf1968Gng PLEASE continue onto the other two knives out movies
THEY ARE SO GOATED
god that annoying fake laugh is insufferable
@editoe_bI did. It's really quite easy. There are only 3 actual characters in the movie, and 2 of them are main protagonists. The other is Chris Evans. They get the most screen time. I've also solved the two subsequent movies with similar methods; who gets the most time and is not a protagonist or Blanc? They did it.
@TheCAPIrelandAwesome video, greeat idea! Please do the other Knives out movies, good sir!
@GohaN4466This movie had been spoiled to me about ransom being the one to do it so i never watched it. I just finished watching it and it still amazed me. I was trying to figure it out while watching it but i was so immersed into the movie i just enjoued it instead
@tonatiuhcortes9968AAAA HE WHITE!? ..oh different guy srry confuse you with someone ig..
@TheGarofbanbaNthis videos awesome, love the format.
@leonamongwolvesDo knives out glass onion next
@Noahheisell"I wonder what he said" while being irish
@CamBoss64I find it funny how you glazed over/chalked it up to Marta’s imagination the scene where Harlan literally slits his own throat. I’m not sure how you assumed that considering every other flashback scene shown in the movie was the truth 😭. Ransom had the INTENT to kill Harlan, but Harlan ultimately committed suicide. What condemned Ransom was confessing to Fran’s murder.
@mouse_2854I also think it’s worth mentioning that the movie is playing on Chris Evan’s image given at the time of the release he is fresh off playing Captain America so a lot of viewers subconsciously won’t think it would be him
@MattJuttnerYou need to do this series again with the sequels lol. they are also great for this kind of content.
@PhabioTheHostpls do the other 2 movies pls
@kermitator-ld9buI just randomly stumbled on your video, because I like the movie and your video idea is a great promise, and I thoroughly enjoyed this. But what is even better: you have a lot in common with a great friend of mine, who unfortunately lives far away now and we lost touch a bit, but who I still admire. The hair color is just one thing, but your looks and especially your laugh is almost identical. Don't worry, he's not your long lost German brother - just similar. And it made me reminisce and I'll make sure to reach out to him later today.
Thanks for the video and I will make sure to come back - especially, if you do another Knives Out.
