You are wrong about the brownies. Years ago when Ted kept talking about the brownies, someone asked Lindy for the recipe and she posted it on insta. He mentioned it during a notebook and I went and found it and copied it down and made them. They are truly wonderful. McLaren Brownies
(The recipe was given for the catering size so I reduced by half for a domestic use - amounts in brackets)
Makes 28 (14)
30 x 23 cm pan
Ingredients

460g (230g) dark chocolate

400ml (200ml) vegetable oil

12 (6) eggs

900g (450g) sugar

4tsp (2tsp) vanilla extract

160g (80g) plain flour

100g (50g) cocoa powder

20g (10g) baking powder

220g (110g) natural yoghurt

340g (170g) white chocolate chunks

Method

1. Melt dark chocolate over a pan of hot water.

2. In a bowl whisk eggs sugar & vanilla, until fluffy.

3. Add your flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, natural yoghurt, melted chocolate and veg oil to the mix.

4. Fold in the white chocolate chunks.

5. Pour into a large baking tray which is lined with parchment paper

6. Pop into a pre-heated oven at 160 C for 45 - 55 min. The brownie should

be firm around the edges, a little soft in the middle.

7. Try not to eat the whole bunch!

Do we think that anybody causing an interruption to a quali session should lose their best time from that session (I think it happens in F2)? Because, I agree that it would be safer to double-waved yellow this type of incident BUT following drivers are impacted. In extremis, you have a situation like Schumi at Monaco, crashing to prevent others improving.
The downside of this is that bit might mean that drivers don’t push to the limit.
I’m undecided.

40:03 forgive my ignorance but what does Karun have to do with the Landostand at Silverstone? I’m assuming something to do with the BRDC but at what level is Karun within the organisation?

I've watched F1 long enough to remember Williams being quick, with Massa at the wheel. It's a sad time for a team with so many constructor's titles.

Even if you want to issue blame to the FIA, for not immediately issuing a double yellow or red flag, I fully agree with this. However there is absolutely no justification for George’s following the letter of the law and not the spirit of the law of the flags for safety. He knew that he should abandon the lap, but his desperation to be in front last weekend won. It was disappointing to witness and even more disappointing to hear others justify. Imagine Kimi is saying that he did the wrong thing (because saying otherwise would highlight the big sporting gaffe). I remember a time when Merc cared about the way they won. Now it’s grasping at straws when they are so much better than this.

Honestly though, what is slowing down by a tenth going to do to prevent an accident?! I feel like the rules around the single yellow flag are definitely flawed
