In California's top-two primary system, the two candidates receiving the most votes advance to the November General Election, regardless of party affiliation.
Key races we're watching include:
• The race to succeed Governor Gavin Newsom; Xavier Becerra, Tom Steyer and Steve Hilton lead the latest polls
• Congressional District 3, covering parts of Sacramento County and cities like Folsom, Grass Valley and Truckee
