Brooks Koepka on pace of play on the PGA Tour
Video Overview & Insights
In his most recent Town Hall, reigning PGA Player of the Year Brooks Koepka sat down with fellow Florida State alum Danny Kanell and discussed the pace of play in today's PGA TOUR.
THE ONLY player who went to LIV worth listening to - at least he is real - as for Phil - America wake the f..k up to this pathetic human - Phil - news break - u r just a golfer - the world survives without YOU - but not doctors or police or cooks or ................ get my point - the only thing you proved with LIV and your appearance on social media since - all my buddies FINALLY came around and said - F...K ME - he is a complete a-hole - and you (me) said it forever!!!!

How do you play golf when you're hugging yourself asshole

I like Brooks Koepka, he is honest and true to his words. What you see is what you get. As we say in French, câest un vrai!
@michelblais73235:20 for the final 3-some at the US Open today. The first step is name the names. Publish the times that players get. I don't know why they protect the identities of slow players. He is the basic rule- when it's your turn- hit the ball
@mholtebeckBrooks: â even if I donât need to, Iâll go to the loo, hang out in there for 5 minutes to deliberately slow us down, then weâll get put on the clockâŠthen weâll end up playing faster at my paceâ
BRILLIANT! I wonder if he has a wank at at Paige Spirinacâs Insta page whilst heâs in the loo đ
Slow play even ruins club golf, never mind PGA tournaments. He is so right-on and we all know who in particular youâre talking about Brooksie!đ
@magnificentmuttley2084Brooks drops a deuce, turns him loose.
@olderguyrnyAnnoying. The pace should be dictated by the fastest player not the slowest.
Adding an hour or more to a round because of one weirdo makes no sense. And this hour is multiplied by no. of guys in your group as well as everyone behind you.
Brooks is right on, the tv audience if tired of waiting on all the slow play screw the PGA,for not inforcing slow play rules.
@buddymorgan4165Well said.
@alancumming64071 stroke penalty for first violation.
2 stroke penalty for all subsequent violations thereafter.
I've watched him do that playing with gicky Fowler a couple weeks back. Don't know if they were put on the clock but you could tell he was losing the will to live waiting for Ricky to lineup putts 3 times before even addressing the ball,and then I noticed he slowed right down to gickys pace.
@gmac9284Brooks is the man.
@metaloutlanderBut I enjoy watching a pro spend 2 mins studying a putt only to jerk it left and watch it roll off the green. It... empowers me.
@tvs3497Ok. The problem Brooks is the players dont have a clock available to see as opposed to obvious other infractions
@slayerde440How about the Rory Sabatini solution?
@floxy20I get called a slow player because everyone else is selfish with the golf carts instead of parking it somewhere in between our shots they go right next to their ball and expect me to walk then tell me to hurry up. People are just selfish on the course in a bunch of different ways.
@untrillboI'm starting to like this guy more and more each time you listen to what he says đŻ
@jamesortegajr2795It is FUStrating lol
@DeezzzzNutzzzzi hate slow players practice swing after practice swing. hello call people up let them go golf is not a slow playing sport 4 hours only
@paulvandyke1027please name the names. other than Bryson
@SummitRecords911Brooks, one moment he's reprimanding slow players, and then he appears butt naked. This world is going to hell in a golf ball bucket.
@rutexas7157âWith a couple guys.. not gonna name namesâ
Bryson dechambeau
Haha I love this guy
@NikBeskoJust get up there and Sip it and rip it. If you want to play slow go to the CC on a Tuesday afternoon.
@twentysix4changeOnly 1 solution.
Stroke penalty
Money doesnât mean anything to these guys.
BK asserting dominance
@jordywilliamsThatâs actually some tiger level assassin shit heâs doing playing intentionally slow with slow players to get on clock right away
@JonathanPotoDouche-am-bo.....
@ericcrittenden7553I like Brooks style. He doesn't overly think it and just goes for it.
@tyzxcj34I am pretty bad at golf. So when I do play, I give my self three shots to get my ball to the green on a par 4, and 4 shots on a par 5. if I'm playing particularly poorly, I pick my ball up and go to the green, take one putt, and then go to the next hole. When it's time for me to hit, I just walk up, make sure I am aimed correctly and then I take my rip. I don't understand guys that need to check the wind, take a minute to select the right club, need to read the break on every putt, and then still shoot 110. You're not playing for millions of dollars. And if you are betting money, you're a fool. All you are doing is slowing up the groups behind you and turning a relaxing day at the course into an annoyance.
@bradd.6157The game within the game. It's almost as dumb as the NBA allowing 3 steps and a hop post dribble. Rules smooles
@abefroman8528Koepka.....
Why did you throw the Masters on the back nine of the final round????
Dechambeaux
@JojoQuikHis brutally honest assessment of how he deals with it is bloody brilliant. Very canny, and takes balls to admit that kind of tactic publicly.
@thewonderfulparadoxItâs only ok to play slow if Iâm the one doing it.. what a piece of work.
@1mrjcridajust DQ, donât even worry about 1 stroke penalty
@christophermatthews4896When he said âIâm not naming namesâ, I immediately thought of JB Holmes. His game moves at the speed of an arthritic tortoise. He had brain surgery, so that might have something to do with it
@paulrobert3284Does the PGA test for steriods??
@fry285Purposely gets put on the clock to play at his pace.... smart and honest dude.
@shredthepowder123Slow play sucks but if you're letting another player or players affect your skills bc of what they're doing or not doing than you need to work on your mental game.
@brmillgrits definitely "fustrating"
@brmillgrRelax Danny! Itâs a gift if you get to spend another hour enjoying the outdoors.
@joehernandez5600Love Brooks. Stick it to em!
@justwondering1967Slow players should send their caddies ahead for most shots so they can begin the preparation process for the next shot. Slow players should also walk fast or jog to their ball to allow for their slower prep time.
@RandsurferOne problem: A "group" is put on the clock, even though it might be one golfer who is responsible for the group's slow play. Then, once on the clock, every golfer in the group is at risk to be penalized. A fast player who would normally be way ahead of pace now cannot take an extra minute to prepare for a tricky shot without being penalized.
@RandsurferOnly problem is why be interviewed by Danny Kannell who is pretty clueless.
@noleepsjust like society, Brooks...tolerating people breaking the law and not punishing them results in more law-breaking, just like not penalizing players results in more slow play from them...you'd think we'd learn
@norrispg6085Take the slow players, and have them start on Wedndays and Thrusdays
@lelandhopkins2433Keopka says it like it is. Shoots from the hip. Doesn't really get the credit for his achievements in last few years. Rory DJ and Speith still the main men in golf media. Was wondering who are the really slow players . It's bound to have an impact on playing partners. Same with Nadal in tennis. Form of cheating really.
