What a mess this club is in. The thought of starting the season with Joe Gomez as our centre back option beggars belief . Cant say I’m shocked or that disappointed. Fee was extortionate and we saw how that worked out last year. From his perspective it’s a no brainer. Liverpool are a massive club but atm PSG are the biggest draw in world football. Best club side in the world. 2x back to back European champions and with the best head coach in the world. He’s guaranteed trophies there. From Liverpool’s perspective move on and sign two wingers for the fee you would have paid for Diomande.
