1:32:49 If you spam buttons you can completely avoid damage for some attacks as it lets you do it before the grab damages you, but the animation still plays.

seeing the different combat situations is better than just showing us boss kills, as some challenge runs (like this one) have unique obstacles that shouldn't be skipped over.
besides, if every video is just "items picked and boss kills montage", it risks blurring the videos into feeling samey.

I’m actually doing a similar run to this but with sorcery only (I never used sorcery in DS1 and wanted to start dipping my toes into challenge running). It’s a fun play-style and I enjoy just eating attacks with Havel’s armor + wolf ring and hitting mfs with an RPG at point blank range. Completely forgot about stone armor tho, just went from the elite knight set to Havel’s lol

Many grabs can be mashed out of in dark souls, as you probably know. Centipede demon's is one of an elite few that is actually so easy to mash out of that you can escape the damaging part of the grab before it actually deals any damage. Good mashing skills!

I do not understand using a shortage of arrows as an excuse not to kill the channeler near Gapping Dragon. Dude, just walk over to him & kill him in melee. If you don't want to do that, then at least address it, and don't pretend that shooting him with arrows is the only way to kill him.

Funnily enough I literally just finished a similar challenge yesterday however I just got enough endurance to fat roll. It’s crazy learning just how many attacks you can block. Bed of chaos still killed me the most.

Centipede demon is definitely one of the glitchiest bosses in my experience his grab can do damage however it is rare in my experience

5:49 I don't think cutting the fights is good, but commentary makes it flow better. Viewers get bored when you just sit in silence in an edited video. People prefer edited content to feel continuous which is what continued commentary does. A music shift for effect, comedy, leaving in stream audio/reaction, or foreshadowing is a great way to fill the silence.
