Season Two - Episode Thirteen: "ABQ"
Everything Jane's dad goes through in this episode is so hard to watch. And this is only the end of the second season! Walt's still got three season's worth of damage left to do!!!
Walt's lies start to unravel, and Skyler's frustration with his secrecy finally comes to a head. Meanwhile, Jesse self-destructs when Jane overdoses and Donald's grief leads to tragedy.
00:00 Intro
Its to bad we never saw walts mother on screen
00:30 The Future Is Now
00:52 I Know Who to Call
1:49 After Mike takes off his gloves and zips them in the bag, he stands and says to Jesse "Hang tough, you're in the home stretch" and the camera cuts to Jesse's face. Mike is suddenly holding a purple glove in his right hand before he leaves. You can see it at 2:01 (when the clock on screen is at :13 - :15)
So yes, Mike did have something to use to open the door so he wouldn't leave his prints, but it's a continuity error that he wasn't shown pulling another glove out of his pocket.
01:08 Here's Your Story...
02:02 Isn't This Awesome?
The real life Walter White air traffic controller story is one of the best discoveries so far on the channel. Thanks!

02:54 Heisenberg's Still Out There
03:33 Jesse is Found
04:09 Blue is Blue
This show just kicks the shit out of Jessie. But, the incidents are spread out and there is true depth to his struggle, so it doesn't become tiresome like on a bad tv show that is kicking the shit out of its character. (With good writing and good acting, you can get away with almost anything.) It just makes me sad. Poor Jessie. I won't recount his trials here, but POOR POOR JESSIE. Damn it.
04:32 But Dad, it's Money!
04:59 Hank Meets Gus
Can we talk about "Flynn's" web designing skills? I need to talk about "Flynn's" web designing skills! That website looks older than the web! Yes, really. EDIT: HE EVEN USED COMIC SANS!!!!
05:22 Serenity Now
05:34 KCAV 15 News
05:55 Walt's Lobectomey
06:30 Farewell, Dr. Delcavoli
6:00 interesting to think that basically the same thing that killed Jane and hurt Jesse so much is also what destroyed Walt's lie
06:57 Don is an Air Traffic Controller
07:11 Lies on Top of Lies on Top of Lies
Anna Gunn's performance at the end of the episode where Skyler confronts Walt is underappreciated imo. She did a really good job here.
09:01 Wayfarer 515
09:47 Shout Outs & More
8:22 I hate Skyler more than almost any character ever probably more than even Peggy Hill, but damn if she wasn’t right, almost all of the time and Anna gun is even more of an amazing actress than I thought she was she is spectacular. To make me hate a character that much you have to be perfect at your job. That is so good.
Breaking Bad is a drama television series created & produced by Vince Gilligan for AMC. Set & filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the series follows Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a high-school chemistry teacher who is struggling with a recent diagnosis of stage-three lung cancer. White turns to a life of crime & partners with a former student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), to secure his family's financial future before he dies, while navigating the dangers of the criminal underworld.
Among the stars are Anna Gunn & RJ Mitte as Skyler & Walter Jr., & Betsy Brandt & Dean Norris as Marie Schrader & husband Hank, a DEA agent. Others include Bob Odenkirk as Walter's & Jesse's lawyer Saul Goodman, Jonathan Banks as private investigator & fixer Mike Ehrmantraut, & Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring. The final season introduces Jesse Plemons as the criminally ambitious Todd Alquist, & Laura Fraser as Lydia Rodarte-Quayle.
I didn't fully take it all in the first time I watched it but it's no wonder Donald ended his own life.. the weight of his daughter and those on two aeroplanes simultaneously, I think him picking out the dress is what really struck the hardest..
The show received numerous awards, including 16 Primetime Emmy Awards, eight Satellite Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two Peabody Awards, two Critics' Choice Awards, & four Television Critics Association Awards. Cranston won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series four times, while Aaron Paul won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series three times; Anna Gunn won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series twice. In 2013, Breaking Bad entered the Guinness World Records as the most critically acclaimed TV show of all time.
The series gave rise to Better Call Saul, a prequel featuring Odenkirk, Banks, & Esposito reprising their Breaking Bad roles. A sequel film, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, starring Paul was released on Netflix & in theaters.
Also features Raymond Cruz as Tuco Salamanca, Mark Margolis as Hector Salamanca, Lavell Crawford as Huell Babineaux, & Steven Michael Quezada as Steven Gomez.

I cried like a bltch during this episode. Donald Margolis is the character I think about the most in BB. just so tragic... just the way he acts when finding out Jane's dead. No tears. No screams. Just haunting silence and calmness. And unlike Jesse, we never get closure about him. But I know he lives the rest of his life thinking, had he made his daughter go to rehab right then, maybe she would have lived. breaks my heart every time I think about it.

@FinishedEditzWhat's the song that plays at 9:37?
@jacob3771thepiratefoxy"Now how did I know you wouldn't answer the phone" :( that shit kills me, same with Marie thinking Hank couldn't answer the phone because she thought he was actively booking Walt.
@AJ-x1322:34 I gotta say it man...
Had Donald caught one more red light, he would have found her on the porch, bag-packed, ready to go.
wait a sec... nobody puts a vinyl logo on the TOP of a van but not the SIDES. Verisimilitude compromised!
@badlamprey891I know you probably won't see this comment, I'm one of those viewers who aren't subscribed but, I don't think you mentioned it (correct me if i'm wrong) but the actor for Dr. Delcavoli was also in the sopranos as a cancer doctor;
@Jack_DPJane’s dad has the saddest eyes I’ve ever seen. Even if you didn’t care too much about Jane, seeing her dad is what really is so devastating. He tried so hard for her.
@BeavisLover7That's a really good goatee except through no fault of their own they couldn't accurately guess what his natural beard color would be when it grew thicker. But then again he was on strong treatment for cancer so
@Treblaine3:12 no one notice that in this scene, Hank asked who was responsible for handing the greatest meth to the lesser guys, and walt donation photo dances in frame as soon as he asked that, answering his own question
@korvo9936Okay, what???
I am watching it for the first time, just started 3rd season and came here for the hidden details videos. (which I watch after ending every episode, mind you).
I mean I am still trying to understand why Breaking Bad is that huge, as having little moments of epiphanies and mind-blowing moments during these last episodes. The whole "737 down over ABQ" and Walter White... man this is just one of the elements that makes this show extraordinary.
Got to love how skylar and walt jr are excited about thedonations and being on the news and walt just gives a very fake "wow" walt has a habit of beine emotionally unengaged
@chrislewis50699:00 When Jane's dad is reading aircraft wing designation letter-number combos, he says "Juliette" for J, then says "Jane" for J" in the next sentence. The "Jane" is his character making a mistake. He's thinking of Jane.
He's using the NATO Phonetic Alphabet, used by air traffic controllers worldwide. Juliette is J, and Mike is M. Even if he was using some variant on it, he wouldn't use a different name for the same letter, and the fact that he does it just one sentence apart is him thinking of Jane.
I JUST now noticed this, somehow. (The picture of Mike and Jane helped, lol) I watched the whole series all the way through probably 10 times, and saw this video 2x.
is marie the baddest breaking bad female?
@BingChilling-ue8ptHIMYM saved Breaking Bad (before HIMYM ruined HIMYM in the finale)
@thibaud1832I'm glad those two actors turned down the Walter White role, Bryan Cranston is the ONLY actor that could have brought Walter White to life.
@greenbeagle13Its kind of extraordinary that Walts family doesnt call him out for being disingenuous and clearly not being staightforward
@chrislewis50694:26 might as well give "Negro y azul" a whole new meaning
@sebasyou1352Anna Gunn is such a talented actor. Skyler (and unfortunately, Anna) gets a lot of unfair hate for her character, but she's totally justified in so many of her actions.
Yes, she has slip-ups, like the smoking occasionally or stuff with Ted, but can anyone blame her? Walt puts her through absolute hell in so, so many ways.
I'm glad now, further removed from the show's airing, there's a lot less Skyler hate and more broad appreciation of her performances.
At 8:30, is Skyler (subconsciously) removing her wedding ring?
@ryanunderwood1798Who came back to this video after watching the Phoenix reupload?
@BrianEylinkrig9:21 there is a cloud that looks like an eye, bottom right
@sebasyou13527:11 he also kept it because of donald
@sebasyou1352Wow! I bet Matthew Broderick and John Cusack are still kicking themselves for turning down W.W.
@JamesGowan3:07 you can see Combo was shot through the neck like Andrea says at a later episode and it was seen as being possibly a mistake as we see Combo get shot in the belly, but it was a possibility that he was shot later in the neck and it wasnt shown to us, this confirms he got shot in the neck as we can see the wound.
@Irvi90WHERE IS EPISODE 12
@LeastTeat69The rehab center being a casino in real life is so ironic, especially when you consider what's to come
@frenchfriesfan2005John Delancie is a FANTASTIC ACTOR. I first saw him in the old famous mini series The Thorn Birds as one of Meggie’s suitors, he was a young man then .
Then I saw him as a hilarious character Eugene Bradford on Days of Our Lives. Among other things , He also directed a traveling Play of “On Golden Pond” with the late great Jack Klugman of “Quincy M.E” fame . John has been around a long time & it’s absolutely appropriate that he was chosen to play Don Margolis in this most masterful tv series in the world!
what happened to episode 12 😢
@3amfartchallenge6336:07 This line doesn’t make much sense to me because I feel like his other phone is so synonymous with the lie that it wouldn’t even cross his mind to clarify
@silztrngWhen people say "I dislike Skyler" I really do think a lot of it stems from this episode. The way she acted saying "Get out , no family anymore since you must be a liar" without even knowing really put people against her, I think. I always felt bad for Walt, he had a much weaker marriage then he thought he did.
@ManCheetah294Where is the video of S2E12 (Phoenix)? I'll be so sad if YouTube has taken down videos from one of the GOAT channels/playlists
@LongGamma-w4nWhy are we going after the cartels? They have pretty good weed
@keegandecker40800:43 they forgot to decolor the guys face
