It is never to late with The Lord. His Word says "When my father and my mother have forsaken me, the Lord will take me up and adopt me as His own child." Also His Word says "I will not seriously remember the shame of my youth." And the Word says "Nothing is impossible with God". I know your emotions probably feel completely the opposite of this, but thats because you have been hurt (abused). Ask God to heal you and to help you to let him love you.This is a journey and a process. If you don't know the Lord as your personal Lord and Savior, confess all of your sins and ask Jesus to be be your Lord and Savior. As you let God love you it will be easier to let others love you! I speak from experience, God is Able!

@Eskimo57Oh my gosh, I love Cyril! His child-like faith, and determination to do what God called him to do, is truly beautiful. It also makes me feel ashamed, because I know many of us are called, yet we let the negative thoughts rule. May God help us be more like this faithful servant, Cyril and others like George Muller, who started homes for homeless children without a penny to his name, but just trusting that God would provide, and God did! If you, me, are truly called by God to do something, it will not failed because God is behind it.

@ottog.garcia7765The other side of this, is many men will only see these dads with their kids from a distance. But will never experience it themselves. These programs only reach certain kids. Not any and all. I know from experience.
