BLUSZCZ: A High-Mobility Mine Scattering Vehicle From Poland

Video Overview & Insights

This type of system, particularly when remotely-operated, allows for minimized risk in the fast creation of minefields. The vehicle, with its small footprint, offers high maneuverability and tactical flexibility as a tool to slow down the enemy and delay their advance.

Bravo for pronouncing "BLUSZCZ"👍

Bluszcz = Ivy... So what is Polish for Poison Ivy?
Smart move with having based on the Land Cruiser platform. Will there be a certain amount of commonality with the Aero 4X4?

American here. I very much like your channel, focused as it is on Baltic defense against an orc incursion.
I imagine Poland along with NATO, has a standing strategy on dealing with Kaliningrad and the Suwalki gap corridor to smash the forces of Mordor.

Love to see how our Polish and Baltic friends are expanding their militaries and developing defensive strategies.developing their defenses.
From what the NATO brass recently said inn a startling statement, they have a strategy to deal with Kaliningrad and the gap.

Interesting. So, from the look of it, it can carry/lay a maximum of ~20 mines before being reloaded? Or can it be reconfigured for more depending on size, eg, if they're anti personnel vs. anti-tank etc?

In Poland we also have a substitute for Skorpion 2, it's called Baobab-K

Funny little system. It can be used where a larger baobab system cannot fit or in situations of greater danger.

As soon as I saw the notification, I clicked right away; I wanted to see how you’d manage to pronounce "Bluszcz." And again I wasn't disappointed; the pronunciation was almost like that of a native speaker—kudos!

I wasn't familiar with this system, but I really like it; it’s lightweight, mobile, and based on the reliable Toyota platform which is already in use by our military. However, you didn't mention that we also have a large mine-laying system which is called Baobab (that's Polish for Baobab) 😆

Scorpion 2 is going to Sweden as well...

Lithuania definetly needs some remote mining sys tem, but I think latvian choice is the right one due to higher volume carried.

Let's hope they never use this next to a skeet shooting range. 🤣😂🤣😂

it is great a High-Mobility Mine Scattering Vehicle from Poland that allows us to not risk putting mines instead a vehicle is doing that.

I opened this video just to hear you say BLUSZCZ repeatedly. Greetings from Trolland :). edit: not bad, actually.

Dear Poland... can you stop using names that are unpronounceable for everyone else 😂
