Blade Runner (1982) Complete-Soundtrack

Video Overview & Insights

Ridley Scott's 'Blade Runner' (1982) is a science fiction masterpiece and is iconic for its sorrowful and melancholic music. Please enjoy, leave a like and subscribe.

II think it´s fair to say: Vangelis was the Hans Zimmer of the 70s and 80s. The atmosphere of the film really depends on his music!

this soundtrack has an own category it is so futuristic and utopistic that in the upcoming 500 years nobody will write a better music for a film or something like

Another sad facsimile of an epic soundtrack. Anyone who has heard the OST knows this version is not it.

Great soundtrack and film. That noted, the awkward "sax" scene with Rachel is cringe. It has always felt out of character for the scene and score - prosaic. Perhaps the only dissonant piece in an otherwise masterpiece.

Not Ai, this is what Ai could never do. So futuristic yet so human

If you enjoy this, find out when and where you can see Blade Runner Live. It's great to see 'The Final Cut' on the big screen with live musicians ... and now my wife gets why I insisted on naming our dog "Deckard.'

This doesn't sound like the same version I hear when watching the movie. The synths sound more modern here. I like it.

This is a different version of the soundtrack. The sound was improved but the original "The Tales of the Future" song was vocoded with Demis Roussos' voice. This version was vocoded differently.

this isn't the Soundtrack of Blade Runner, it's Edgar Rothermich . It’s a recreation of the Blade Runner soundtrack . It doesn’t sound 1 to 1 like the original score

Am I listening to some kind on AI derivative of Vangelis? This isn’t the soundtrack I’m accustomed to-it sounds a bit clumsy to be Vangelis.

Sounds so different, listening to it up close and personal, without the soundtrack of the characters environment and characters themselves. It really does sound so different, as certain tones, nuances and inflections are masked when you hear it in the movie.
Its still, one of the most personal pieces of music I have ever heard. I remember seeing the add in the TV guide in the newspaper, for a film called Blade Runner...I was bon in 74, I was really young, and I remember that the name...Blade Runner having a real effect on me, especially when I asked my godmothers daughters, what's Blade Runner? as I was at my godmothers, and being even more intrigued after being told the premise of the film... A robot hunter...wow!!! Our dad had just bought a video recorder that year, which was a big deal!!! And I remember counting the days till it aired. But the TV was knocked out of action due to a thunder storm, but I figured it out that, the video recorder records from the aerial and not the TV image...so I hit record at the time it was due to be on without a working TV.
I still have that video tape, complete with commercials to this day.
And from the first time I watched that Blade Runner, with Harrison Ford's narrative over the top, it became and still is to this day, my most favourite film of all time.
Listening to the soundtrack, whilst writing this...it's so different man!!!
Beautiful.
