Came here cause I saw some cringe IG account of some other guy acting like this character. Thought it was satire cause I didn't know this show existed. Went to the comments and was surprised at all the thirsty women wetting their panties watching him talk. Like what?!? I literally see women making memes and skits about guys that only use that suave voice and how corny it is...yet theyre all gooning over some skinny wannabe gangster look that acts like hes talking in the bedroom everywhere he goes. Ridiculous...and this clip didn't help either...it has me questioning where society has gone when it finds this trash concept of a show entertaining.

@kaylarattigan5813I miss this show so much. I watch the 4 seasons over and over. This show helps with anxiety. No matter how bad it got for them they always miraculously were saved from disaster. Had its dark moments but these woman were so good. We need a reboot

@Tatsu-MasterJust watching this now and I only watch for Rio and Beth. I am reading how the show was supposedly canceled because Manny wanted more money and he and Christina weren’t each other’s biggest fans. I imagine the reason people watched was for Brio.
I fast forward through Annie’s season as I find her very unlikable. The writers should’ve given fans more of what they wanted—Brio. That’s on them. Also no one should have had to take a pay cut. Get rid of the characters people don’t care about and keep the ones people do.
It’s unfortunate Manny hasn’t had other leading roles because he’s great here, but half of why he’s great is due to playing off Christina and vice versa. He would’ve been great on Better call Saul—maybe as Nacho (though I loved the actor who played him). But he and CH took pretty terrible writing and elevated it.
I know people love Retta and i like her character, but she is not a good actress. Her expressions have zero nuance. In the scene where the FBI shows up at her home, she so obviously looks terrified. Maybe it’s the direction, but that is not good acting.
They had magic with Brio and stupidly snuffed it out.
Also this show would be so much better with better writers on Netflix or Hulu. Have Beth be a Walter white. And Manny a Gus. Take Brio’s amazing chemistry and actually give them passionate love scenes.
Beth, Annie, and Ruby should’ve been in the foster system together, or gone through major trauma together to explain why they would risk their families for each other. You don’t meet a friend in HS and let your husband go to jail to save that friendship. It’s unrealistic. BUT if they had some traumatic backstory that showed why they are so bonded that would make sense.
Annie has a crappy personality and isn’t some charming, stunning woman to explain why her ex would leave his wife for her and why Noah fell madly in love with her.
So much wasted potential with this show.
Beth could have been absolutely anyone. Rio’s voice and charisma makes you melt. I think Beth could have even given more tension in her role. Beth always was cold even to Rio
