Aria is attached to the Monorail? I thought there was a free monorail that went between the Bellagio, Vdara/Aria, Aria, and Park MGM... and the paid-monorail was on the other side of The Strip and went from the MGM Grand to the Sahara with many, many stops in between. Have things changed since I was last there?

Las Vegas is not what it used to be. Drastic changes on the strip. Casinos gaming so tight. Food and drink cost increased. Parking lot fees. Too many added fees when you check in at hotels. I did not enjoy my last 2025 visit and it will be the last.

Hi, in case you are wondering, my name is Matt, and I am from New Jersey, and I wanted to let you know, that I've been wanting to go to Las Vegas since 2019, just one year before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and this dream is not just mine, but I have a really good female friend who wanted to go to Las Vegas as well to celebrate her birthday and I volunteered to assist her to go to Las Vegas.
But aside from bad budgets and everything, we had the pandemic with us, and the restrictions that the pandemic caused significantly altered our plans in a rapid heartbeat. And every time I think about it, I get triggered by it in a rapid heartbeat. And this is something that has been a recent trigger for me, since I've been dreaming to go to Vegas since before the pandemic shut nonessential businesses down. But this is severely affecting me since I wanted to go to Las Vegas since before then.
So what I've been suggesting is an alternative which will just be as wild as Las Vegas, but I have to do something local and wanted to make up for Covid's significant impact on our dreams to go to Las Vegas. But I have to do something local since I cannot leave the state of New Jersey. So I gotta figure it out and make up for Covid's significant destruction on our dreams to go to Las Vegas. And I'm going to come up with a team to make this work, even if it may be better or wilder than Las Vegas. And we will figure something out.

The average person can't afford vacations, especially when you are being WAY TOO OVERCHANGED FOR EVERYTHING!
The natural attractions around Las Vegas - Grand Canyon/Bryce Canyon/Zion were absolutely amazing and worth the trip alone. I also enjoyed the Sphere and there were excellent restaurant and shopping facilities. Other than these things I think Las Vegas is a bit of a dump - it is filthy and unsafe - in the seven nights I was there some entered my room (I was staying at the Palazzo supposedly one of the better hotels on the strip) and someone was shot dead within sight of my hotel window. It was an experience that is all I can say - one I won't ever want to repeat...
