I just tested 7/3/26 DTV streaming under 14 day trial. I have DTV Sat now and choice program with sports pack
Sat price 4 tvs is 178 a month on a deal.
Streaming is 121 a month.
Big problemo - blur. lots of blur, un usable blur. I have 600 mbs, brand new modem with euro service and 3 level security.
We tried everything. They were shipping a Gemini air but my thing. if this solves the problem I need three more at 10 bucks a pop rental, might as well keep satellite. Thus their streaming doesn't work without help.

So thats what yall paying for the live tv in us?? I have two subscriptions right now, combined together they are about 15$ a month. They offer Top 5 football leagues in eu, UCL, UEL, UECL, regional cups, FIFA World Cup, my local league, all the local channels and they come with paramount and universal library. 100$?? Why don't you just pirate at that point?

Hey President Trump get someone to check into all these tv apps their splitting up programming so you have to have 3 or 4 apps to watch what use to be on one app. This all is bullshit to screw the American people Better yet hey people let's all cut these apps off and see how they like that😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡💯😡😡💯

Philo is the cheapest and is the most like the live cable experience. It is the only one I pay for. I had constant buffering when trying to stream Philo on my Apple TV 4k. I got tired of fighting it and it runs fine on a Ruko box. I have an antenna on my roof for locals.

FUBO TV IS THE BEST BUT WAAAAY TOO EXPENSIVE
Their support is great
SLING TV HAS "THE" worst customer support .. you get what you pay for thats all I have to say.
YOUTUBE for the price CAN be the best but no CBS
All the others are about the same
AGAIN beware SLING TV has only a chat and that AI driven 100%
So unless you have a backup service DO NOT go with Sling TV

If you only want entertainment and local news which one would be the best? I don't watch sports at all.

That was outstanding my man. I switched from FUBO to Hulu a month ago. Im happy but HULU makes you scroll through EVERY channel to get to the one you want lol. (Im lazy) Your presentation was clear and very professional, thanks so much.

Pure evil greed that we can't watch basic channels for free anymore in America.

Decades ago the big sell on streaming services was no commercials or interruptions. But, then time passed and the streaming services they could sneak in commercials, still collect the monthly fees, and make that much more doing it. Some offer "commercial free" service, but, you have to pay more to get that. I expect that cost will escalate. I've been "cable free" for over a decade now. Looking back on my old service (200+ channels, sports, movies, etc.), its cost, and the several streaming services I have now, the overall gap is closing on what it was before streaming was available.

for the world cup im choosing directv espanol because it will have telemundo and universo and all games will be on those two channels . the package cost $35 for 60 plus spanish channels plus locals and i believe other channels. thank you for the very good review. fubo tv was the best there is maybe 4 years ago but they broke ties with telemundo and some other channels and their prices went up

@litdoe7021

There are very few good shows on streaming . Overall, it's pretty much the modern day equivalent of "straight to video."

All streaming is top expensive. Especially if you want local channels. Ridiculous

Our Direct tv went from 98.00 to176.00 overnight. Looking for an alternative now.

@carlchilders2154
@

Those are too expensive. I prefer to just pay for 1 or 2 apps that are under $10.00 each, and use digital antenna for locals.

The issue with YouTube TV is; if you have a problem their customer service is the worst in history. Just try to fix a billing or other problem.

THANK YOU! Does any of these let you navigate to a channel by voice? (like Xfinity does, who I hope to drop BTW) ie, click on a mic icon and say, "CNN" or NFL Channel" ? or do you have to manually type in something in the search field or scroll till you see the desired channel?

Dumped Cable, Got internet 300 Mpbs speed with Xfinity $40/mo. locked price 5 years. Paid $139 for Prime subscription/year. I now get literally hundreds & hundreds of channels, movies etc. from apps. like : TUBI, PLEX, ROKU, YOUTUBE(Not paid), SAMSUNG TV PLUS W/A (Samsung TV), all for $52.52 average cost per month verses typical national average cable bill of $100-$300 month. Mine was $185/Month so I'm saving $2220- $630(NOW)= ($1590 savings annually) I also got a $29 antennae from Walmart which added my local stations (17 more). I had to get my wife use to commercials again, but I convinced her we can use the savings to eat out more often and buy things that matter: gifts for others (and her lol)!

I was looking for an info video on streaming services because my Xfinity is 260.00 per month. I have two boxes and internet. I have six TV's in the home. I only have two TV's that are attached to a cable box. The other's I have the Fire Stick on. I have to cut this Xfinity bill. I needed to know what services were out here and what they offered. What I chose definitely reduced the price from $260.00 to $110.00 with the extra streaming services that I added on. Your info video was very instrumental in my choosing of my new provider for my TV entertainment. Thank you much for putting this information together and giving an honest review of each of the streaming services.

You tube tv will be in disputes with someone every year . Disney is the latest , but they will have it all back . Do it every year and the price is right for what you get. Number 1 in my book

Honestly Directv works for me especially the Sports Genre pack with My Sports add on which is a total of $90 a month. I get all 4 major regional sports teams 2 NBA teams and 2 MLB teams, ESPN, Fox Sports, TNT Sports, cable news and local network channels.

Sling also has a $19 package that has Fox News that you can watch live and that's what I'm going to get with my Roku TV that has a lot of other stuff on it.

For sports and local networks only, Fubo Sports is the cheapest and the best. NBC via antenna or Peacock is required until the Olympics are over. When football season starts, just add NFL Redzone along with SNF via antenna. Total cost $67/mo.

@davew.5199

I pay 33.00 a month for Philo now with no add ons.
