Terribly disappointing beach at least at low tide and confusing contradictory information on getting in and pricing. We left after a few minutes and went to Tecalote a few miles away and liked it better except it gets very busy on weekends.

There is one deep spot to the left,when you enter the beach from the parking lot. It is easy to spot as the water is a different color. ( you can see it well on Google maps)We walked around it to another beach on that side,and were the only ones over there! This was several years ago,before the limited entry

@Znet66We camped at El Tecolote, which is right next to this beach. You can just walk over, or stay at Tecolote, which is also nice. There are restaurants at Tecolote too. Beach camping is free, and we stayed 2 weeks there, going down the peninsula and back up. It's one of our favourites. You didn't film the famous mushroom rock while at the beach.
@JustGoAdventureThere is no fee. I also suggest checking the tides. I've been there at low tide and higher tide. I prefer a higher tide. We always take a lunch and our own umbrella. We like to find a spot under the cliffs to the right as you enter where you were. Glad you had a good time.

They’re a beach called tecolote beach 3 minute drive away from balandra that has restaurants on it with great seafood!
