How to move on and stay the course after divorce to heal quickly? I give you my best 3 tips for dealing with divorce and how to help you get over it quicker. You need to first, stop having sentimental thoughts about your ex. Let that sh*t go, it's over, you need to move one. Catch yourself when you've gone down that path of thinking loving sentimental thoughts about her. They no longer serve you. I give a couple of techniques on how to help yourself to stop doing it.

Second, find a healthy new community. This could be church, running, Crossfit, cars, yoga, or anything positive. You need to start doing new things and meeting new people. Less time to dwell in your pain and thoughts.
The third tip is find things to be grateful for. Start small if you have to like your health, eye sight, smell, hearing, family's health, where you live, the people you know... There is always something you can find to be grateful. This will start to reframe your mind. Let the gratitude spread every chance you get. You will eventually be grateful for this pain and this divorce over time. That's a long ways away, but it will happen if you continuously find things to be grateful for.
Youāre amazingā¤

Yeah snap a rubber band that's absolutely useless come on man !
@billy2guns720Awesome vid your so right I keep replaying what did I do wrong or if I tried this maybe different but it was more bad then good! She never wanted to put in effort and itās sad when you tried everything and itās always your fault even when it wasnāt
@justinpucinoI am having a very difficult time.
During Covid, we had a kitchen fire. We were displaced for a year based on a scam artist contractor. One of the worst experiences in my 48 years.
I attempted suicide and was in a pysch wing of the hospital for a week. My wife and her family did not accept my calls; it was hard.
I am living in a one bedroom apartment and separated from my wife of 21 years. I am trying to regain confidence and my spirit.
You go to the gym and be ultimate warrior
@RYUShotokanMy wife and I are 44, have been with each other for 23 years and married 19 years. I thought we could work out this kink, have been trying and then she catches me out of the blue wanting a divorce. Yes the signs have been there with her slowly distancing herself and have been ignoring it! Now Iām getting these intense emotions and life as I know it would never be the same, we donāt have children, Iām from UK and sheās the reason why I moved to US and love the life we built. I love our home and donāt want to loose it! Iām better than she is with finances, my friend thinks I earn enough to keep it by myself and now just confused, uncertain, insecure and emotional
@anthonykeel1058Oh shut up.
@randomlist100I disagree with the yoga shit.
I joined a car shop, the pay is good.
Have the time all for myself.
Life's good.
After 18 years of marriage things wasn't seeing eye tie didn't enjoy each other's company something separate rooms now we're separated 3 months and it's hard for me to move on what was her that she told me I have to be out of the house in 3 monthsš¢ didn't understand that part after living their 18 years now I was told 3 months to move out
@jim9winThank you. I was considering suicide. I still am. But Ill go another day.
@matthewford937My wife asked me to move out of our home a day before I turned 30. We have a two year old. I tried so hard. I was told Iāve failed to meet expectations and Iām not good enough. Iām a disabled veteran, a father, a provider, and a protector. I cared. I was committed. I through away my happiness for my marriage. My wife through away her family for her happiness. Iām so confused. Am I a bad person? Did I do enough? What else could have I done? Endless questions, I feel guilty for failing. Iām a beat down dog. Atleast I can have my 6th service related shoulder surgery now. I was told I couldnāt have another by my wife. Iām broken. Mentally and physically. My birthday was April 2nd.
@LordAgrizzyRubber band advice is terrible advice and in complete contrast to what healthy psychological advice would be
@GavDuggan1983U can say alot about islam. But they got the tool to deal with cheating wifes... just saying
@Aviation2See1. stop the sentimental thoughts (missing her, missing doing x, wondering what went wrong). Catch yourself, take a breath, stop the thought. Talk to yourself: Tom, stop. Call yourself out. List all the bad things, and look at the list.
2. you need a community. Lean on them. Could be a new community. Use this opportunity to make changes. Join a yoga class, etc. Real interaction.
3. find gratitude! Even if itās hard. Thatās you taking control, not being a victim. Find gratitude everywhere and in anything.
this honestly hit so close to home, i'm still trying to heal from my own toxic marriage and it's crazy how much i needed to hear this right now.
@ToxicTalesByDrReedMy wife left unexpectedly with our 7 month old. Came home to an empty house after work one day. No conversation, no therapy, no nothing just served papers a week later. Unreal. No abuse, no cheating, no nothin just normal stresses of new parenthood. Cold as ice like talking to HR even a year later. brutal
@DeeB17Thank you so much! Sometimes it feels right to let the fire go out in the bat-cave and just curl up under a heavy comforter! Other times get the place toasty and dance alone to your grooviest music. Create stuff: write, play an instrument, grind metal or stone. I decided that I want to sing Portuguese jazz songs. Creative expression uniquely engages us in relaxed concentration essential for mental and physical health. When I do venture out, I try to engage with strangers, start conversations, with men too if they don't get weirded out. Stay in the moment, there is no other reality! Be kind to yourself and others. Life is extraordinarily rare and brief in the universe.
@davidstrom7425Wasn't it women that caused the problem?
@slashingbison2503Give her everything, now she has nothing that she can threaten you with. Be kind no matter what, you'll sleep better at night.
@mikethicksLesson 1 stop feeling and thinking the way you do!
Dont think of a pink elephant.
How about: remember how terribly she treated you after everything you sacrificed and worked for to a much greater extent than she ever gave to you?
How bout get to the root cause like wanting approval, unworthiness and neediness.
Learn and understand hypergamy, how women canāt help how theyāre wired humans arenāt monogamous and a committed relationship with a woman guarantees an uphill struggle with hypergamy. Understand this. Get better, wiser and find every possible benefit the entire experience has been.
Also, remember how you were when she met you: confidence, freedom, options. A love for life. Swagger. Complete without any woman.
At least if your like me and a woman fell head over heels for you and pursued and pursued the way nature intended until you made the naive foolish mistake of committing to a rigged game. That nobody wins ultimately.
You donāt need to snap a damn rubber band like somebody in a loony bin.
I pray other men read this.
If she left you itās her loss. Period. You have every opportunity in the book and youāve been fed a lie since childbirth. Men become more attractive as they age not less. Get in the gym. Go carnivore. Do what you love. Appreciate every moment youāre not at the whims of somebody elseās emotions.
I was married for 25yrs, and we where together for 30. My ex left me, and after she left I found out that she had already moved on. That right there hurt me more than ever, however, I did cheat, and lie to her often, so now im feeling the karma.
@ipullupbrbarber4332Start jiu-jitsu
@rodrigozombiethe tapping background sound is so annoying
@UncleDavesKitchenFind a great church, a menās group, volunteer at church. Iām feeling so much better but still experiencing grief but Iām taking a divorce care class at church and picked up the guitar to practice for joining worship team.
@jeremykauffman7043Me and my wife finally got to a big fight that feels like itās the end. I been having to deal with her narcissism for 3 years now. We have a 1 year old together. Her narcissism became suffocating when I was out in public with her and I finally snapped and she broke my patience. And I tell you, I am a veryā¦. Very⦠patient man. I love her so much and I had hope for her because I know how she can love and be the most amazing person⦠but this side of her that comes out when weāre in public started putting so much pressure on me that I could t take it anymore. My mind canāt take it anymore. Iām typing this while Iām parked in a parking lot somewhere at 12:24 at midnight while my wife is probably throwing out my clothes right now because I dared to stand up to her and finally tell her how I feel and it feels
Like Iām at the edge of the world with my emotions right now. I have to figure something out for my future, for my childās future. I do wish we could continue but I donāt think her narcissism is going away anytime soon and I donāt want to feel trapped and hold my tongue for the rest of my life⦠if anyone reads this. Thank you for listeningā¦
Wow 99% here's men us going through women are like hotels or rentals vacation home never lasts
@yahiakubara3846Married for 14 years, 6 kids. And my wife says sheās been seeing someone and is pregnant. Now she says sheās wants to work on it. But now Iām not sure.
@truthwisdomlove778631 years together and 21 of them married. I stood by her through all of her health issues. I turned down an amazing job overseas because of her health. I was even willing to use the money my dad left me after he passed to allow her to change careers. What thanks did I get? She told me to be at home at 1pm so we could have an afternoon out. I'm sitting in the garden and she turns up and tells me, " my future isn't with you it's in burlesque dancing. " " I'm not the same person I used to be" and " your care for me was amazing" then she walks out saying that she doesn't want any of our shared memory items like wedding photos etc. That night she cancels all of the bills she paid on the house including the rent, which legally made me homeless as her name was the only one on the contract. Oh and files for divorce. No interest in saving the marriage.
Two weeks before she did this we were on holiday. Six months before we bought carpets and furniture for the house.
I'm now 8 months into the divorce process and it makes the moment when I lost my dad feel like I'd forgotten my keys in comparison to her doing this to me. It is almost like the woman I married has been kidnapped and another person is pretending to be her.
Health wise, I wake every day at 5am with crippling anxiety. My wife, her family and friends were my friends too. Now they have all gone and I am on my own, out of work and in my mid fifties.
It is so unbelievably cruel that I don't think I'll ever get over it.
I am currently trapped in a loop, thinking about her and my 3 year old kid. Leaving myself respect aside I pleaded her to return but no use. A day feels like a month. It's been 2 years i have not seen my kid, she don't want me to meet him.
@AKSB2790I have question tor nan...how do you think you can make any changes by suppressing your feeling..not talking about unhappy times to begin with your partner? I know you are taught to be Alfa male..to not your show your emotion ..
my advice would be ve open and show your emotion no matter if its happiness or sadnesa.
Ok. So donāt have a conscious or be human. Got it.
@prutz9092002Best advice: DON'T GET MARRIED!!!!!
@curtislegall8324this is bs my wife was class. always will be. actually maybe im the dick
@therealJohnDawesMarriage is not a union, but a thinly disguised trap. This is a deal in which a man pays for the right to be a prisoner of his own lust, exchanging freedom for the illusion of closeness and stabilityššāļø male wisdom
@davidkool5131Good stuff, you really make me laugh hard about yoga class. I did yoga this morning by myself and thought about it. I may look it up. I do run club, I been doing even before my ex-wife was a thought. But thanks for your words. Really helped this morning.
@LuisCastroSGTDivorce when you don't have children is easy.
Divorce when you have children is absolute nightmare.
