why not use decimals for percentages: 20% of 50 = 50 * .2 =10

For fractions, use the butterfly method; it helps students to simplify fractions easy and it helped a lot in grade 12 i used it to simplify trigometry expressions.

I find it very distracting when writing on the glass.
When I studied math before I learned algebra I learned how to add subtract multiply and divide fractions I also learned order of operations and I did 3x3 digit multiplication and long division I had a solid foundation but early algebra I hated fractions it made my work messy
