A 4K HDR sample from my Extended Star Wars Episode I Cut, simply titled "The Phantom Menace - Extended Edition". As of today, both cuts have now been updated to a new 2.0 version, featuring several minor tweaks in audio, updates to the HDR color timing (especially for Episode I), tweaks to transitions, and brand new A.I. upscales of many of the deleted scenes. A total of 7 deleted scenes have been restored in the film.

Note: The trimmed down version of the duel of the fates battle is only for the youtube upload. The version scene in the film cut itself won't be intercut in this same way.

And if they hadn't shut off the droids there would have been either a lot of prisoners or a lot of corpses to hide tbh. Still a great star wars movie all these years later 👌

@PurntiveSometimes I really do feel bad for Phantom Menace. The battle scenes are great. The underwater city was horrifically fascinating. Pod racing? Oh absolutely, give me more. But shoehorning in Midichlorians? Foretelling a prophecy when we already know what's gonna happen to this kid, necessary may it be for the plot, at no point did any of the original trilogy say a singular word about abandoning your family as mere "attachment." And then you have that Gungan clown I'm watching kick around a B1 as I type this, played entirely for laughs with absolutely minimal character development leaving him so pointless the fanbase had to make shit up about him secretly being a Sith Lord. The prequels can be almost objectively ranked in reverse order just by consensus, with Revenge being my personal favorite of all anyway.

You can understand it from the real one...♥ In part 2, Jar Jar surprised me by how serious he became compared to this ... a shame, we loved him that way
