Lena: My 100 Children
The film is set at the end of World War II. Lena Küchler arrives at a refugee camp in Poland, hoping to find information about her missing relatives. However, instead of answers, she encounters dozens of exhausted and frightened children who have lost their families and homes. Seeing their despair, Lena decides to dedicate herself to saving orphans who have survived the horrors of war and concentration camps.

Lena was a very brave, smart and kind woman. I hope Hashem Blessed her in this life, and will Bless her in the life to come.
Adults should ALWAYS protect children, no matter what.
Despite the lack of food, medicine and constant difficulties, the woman creates a safe haven for the children, where they gradually learn to trust people again and live without fear. Lena becomes not just a guardian for them, but a real mother. Later, she, together with a hundred children, sets off on a dangerous journey to a new life, overcoming bureaucracy, poverty and the consequences of war. This is a touching story about humanity, strength of spirit and boundless love, capable of restoring hope even after the darkest times.

@greleijenLa réalité en Pologne d'après guerre est très déformée dans ce film. Les Polonais n'étaient pas libres. Gouvernés d'une main de fer par les Soviets et le gouvernement composé en grande partie des juifs. La situation de vie pour les Polonais-mêmes était très dure.
Souvent, ayant survécu Auschwitz ou autre camp allemand, ils étaient emprisonnés par le police politique, torturés, tués ou envoyés aux goulags soviétiques, et leurs enfants se retrouvaient dans des orphelinats n'ayant aucune aide extérieure, telle que recevaient les juifs.
It was an amazing movie. The plight of the Jews after the holocaust was not easy, but they made it back to the promised land. The dry bones has come back to life!
