Arsenal latest news: Bouaddi transfer links | Timber's injury update | Tzolis reaction
Video Overview & Insights
Hello everyone and welcome back to Inside Arsenal.
Some of the comments to the Tzolis potential signing absolutely baffled me. Particularly the one that mentioned Harry Kane. It has been quite clearly stated that this signing would not impact the potential arrival of Barcola/Rogers so why the meltdown?
Martinelli scored 1 league goal last season & Trossard is 31. You’re never going to convince a world beater to come and be a backup so why not stop the meltdown and allow the recruitment staff & scouts to do their job on what they think is right. They’ve given me no reason not to trust them, we are champions.
In today's show I discuss reported Arsenal transfer target Ayyoub Bouaddi after his performance for Morocco last night against Brazil in the World Cup. I also look at what Jurrien Timber has had to say about his injury and share what some of you have been saying about Arsenal's move for Greek winger Christos Tzolis.
0:00 - Intro
With Timber missing the World Cup will contract extension talks accelerate Charles? And Cucurella to Real ends the small anxiety I had about Calafiori, thankfully no chance he’s leaving now.
1:50 - Big Gabby struggles in Brazil opener
3:25 - Bouaddi to Arsenal?
Kvaratskhelia was once dismissed by top clubs, they aren't anymore. Tzolis is technically gifted player with a football brain, the football people know what are they are seeing and I support this signing 1000%
8:15 - Timber's injury update
12:00 - Tzolis transfer reaction
Let arsenal bring Tzolis and fail to perform most players who are stars today started somewhere arsenal should not waste time in signing any players.other clubs are monitoring us too if we hesitate they take look what real Madrid does look at their victories we are no where close to them in comparison we must emulate the great

Arsenal must be buy Bouyyadi at any cost today the idea of showing interest or links is none sense he is young composed than no player in arsenal so far a real substitute to Rice because Rice is a 6 not 8 for those who know how to study players or maybe Tonali anyone else is a waste of time Tzolis , Livramento,Mbemba,either vinicious or Barcola.No need of Alvarez .

Hi 👋 Charles, I hope 🤞 all is good 👍. The majority of the Arsenal fans don’t want Ethan Nwaneri sold because he is a talented player and should given a chance to play to show his talent like Myles Lewis Skelly . For whatever reason Mikal Arteta does not play Ethan Nwaneri he should be sent out for a loan. COYE to beat Croatia 🇭🇷 God willing 🙏🏽. Have a good 👍 day Charles 😂.

Buy him, even if it costs. Sometimes you just gotta do it.

I wish Gabriel and the Arsenal boys were home resting
@rel362-o3xBouaddi good player that would suit arsenal and at 18 years old ❤
@haroldbrown7930As usual, fans are fickle. Complaining about Arsenal interested in Tzolis because he plays in the Belgian league. I'm sure if we had signed Kroupi Jr from Lorient for peanuts, they would've been an uproar about it. Now, we are talking about 80-100m to get him from Bournemouth. As much as Gyokeres did not live up to the expectations, he was still our highest goal scorer and we won the league with him and got to the CL final. With Bouaddi, he looks like he can be a wonderful addition to the team. However, Arsenal should not be paying 70m for an 18 year old that is not going to be a starter from Ligue1. I don't think he is worth more than 40-50m in this frustratingly inflated market. Arsenal should walk away if they are insisting on 70m pounds.
@oluwaseunoguntomole6756Andersen is valued at 140M,this kid is younger,more physical,and more technical..He is a bargain..We need to act fast
@Damian-e9t2hSorry Charles but until somebody actually signs on the dotted line I'm not interested in speculation about potential transfers especially as the transfer window is not yet open. Take the summer off and chill till something actually happens
@acapulco351Bouaddi vs MLS and Nwaneri?
@FinsburyPhilAll I know is that arteta needs to rotate regularly
@tarik4684We need midfield control badly ! No more 10s but PROPER CMs. Rice, Skelly and this guy would be insane. If we can get another box to box, 2 LW, we are set. Martinelli, Trossard, Odegaard and Norgaard can be sold. If theres a RB floating about White can go too.
@maniackolderSigning this Greek kid is basically buying a Brighton player before they go to Brighton and get them at a discount and letting them develop at our club. He’s 24.
@Dooley14LH44 Ferrari masterclass
Congrats to the Gooner through and through back on the top step 🇬🇧☺️
Regarding Nwaneri, rather than a loan, Arsenal should consider Real Madrid and Man City's strategy of selling at a bargain with a 50% sell-on and bid-match clause. City did it with Lavia and Real with Brahim Diaz and Nico Paz and it's been a smart way to ensure a young talent gets playing time but protect the club's investment and interest in the player.
@MispeledStalionBouaddi to slow on the ball rn
@curtispainter5620Hi Charles, i am worried about selling Martinelli. He has the ability to be a 25 goal a season class player. Last season he was poor in the PL but was good in Europe. I think part of that comes from Artetas tactics. He seemed to take the handbrake off in Europe and we looked a lot better going forward. Marti seemed to thrive in that scenario. The right coach and system could allow him to thrive. Not too worried about selling Tross due to his age. Obviously would wish anyone sold the best, but would hate to see them go up 3 or gears and have that feeling of why couldn't he do it for us.
@chrisnelson6151Germany is playing today
@davidjames6253I want Ethan to play. He’s better at build up than Eze and has better production on the wing than Madueke, why would we loan him again?
@betterphysicaltherapyYep! Everyone ro Arsenal, lol!!!
@tjo.1202Santi scored in FA cup to end 8 years drought.
@Mighty.MachineGood afternoon please who arsenal is going for
@TysonOdafeyomaCould you imagine if people said, “This Saleh fellow already failed to light up the Prem. Pass.”
Or how about, “No, De Bruyne will never set any assist records in England.”
Sometimes players need a minute before they are ready to go. Even the legendary Thierry Henry didn’t make it at Juventus. Thank the football gods that Le Boss knew what he knew.
I read Timber’s comments less that he’s going to be out for a long time and more as damage control and cover for the national team decision to withdraw him.
@cm1545aUff, all of a sudden we are now in a bit of a bother with the RB position. Am so nervous for the transfer window. Hope we stay under the radar and complete our target transfers. Btw, thank you for picking my comment about Bouaddi.
@Rakesh11503Morning Charles! Just wanted to share my take on the Christos Tzolis rumors. I get the fan disappointment since he's not a big name, but the outrage is a bit much. He could be a great piece to round out the squad. I know he hasn't played in a top 5 league and his numbers might be inflated, but you never know. Yan Diamonded was playing in the US against my nephew two years ago—he looked good, but I never would have guessed he'd be a 100M player today. I’m no scout, but Brighton and Brentford make a killing finding guys like this. I love that Arsenal is trying to supplement the squad smartly, and our new scout did this successfully for a decade at Napoli.
@illuminati1968This is why you buy your targets before the world cup. He should have been bought by now.
@HowMoneyWorksChannelBrazil were poor especially in the 1st half because they had Casemiro and Paqueta in the midfield, constantly overrun by Morocco.
And about recruitment, every comment seems to be an expert of who Arteta should sign!
Hey Charles,
Can I make a pivot into a potential Transfer Target.
Vini Jr.
I actually like the Tzolis and Rogers links as we need the strength on the left given our options of Trossard and Martinelli, we can upgrade, but for a Statement signing, why can't we make a move for Vini.
His Contract expires next year and his relationship has been spotty with Real. With regards to us, we just Won The League mate, made a Champion's League final. Why is it overstating if we try for this type of Maverick ceiling raiser signing with the right push from the owners saying that they'll facilitate "continued success" for the next seasons to come.
What's your opinion, cuz that's mine.
Much love of course from Trinidad and Tobago!!! 🇹🇹
The boy is so good you can't believe that dis boy is so good
@RastaSix-q1gThink we should keep ben till atleast January
And ofcourse sign rb whilst atleast
Retire the number 9 shirt number ... it's cursed.
@timdobisz5179Don't forget about MLS. He's over-achieved in every position he's played and his midfield performances in the latter part of the season were excellent. Give him a proper run in midfield ... he could surprise a lot of people.
@timdobisz5179Bouaddi is definitely worth buying with his age profile. If you're buying for a dynasty then these are the types you need to buy.
@za.307Marocko ran over brazils midfield and gabriel marquenios haf bo protection from their midfield like they have in their clubs and their misfield playera dont loose the ball like that when they going forward. Ye maby they looked a littlw shaky. But that was cyz of their bad center mids ans they have to babysit their rifhtback and leftback instead if helping eachother
@antonbjorklund419Been watching Bouaddi for a while and been saying Arsenal should go get him asap, this guy is already very good but has the potential to be very special. Get the same feeling I had on kompany at Anderlect about a year or two before he eventually went to City, you can just tell a special talent in the making.
@RedArmy1980.No Saliba, white or timber at the start of next season is a worry 😢
@CartesianNullificationI think fans get carried away with Big names. Christos Tzolis would be a good player to bring in if we are looking at brining in a player like rodgers who isnts an out and out winger. sometime you have to take a punt on a player and hope they turn out good and a fee of £35mil is a fairly safe risk
@RevjiggsNo one had heard of Patrick Vieira, Nicolas Anelka, Even Henry was a gamble. They all turned out okay. Tzolis would be a good choice. It seems to me the longer we have a player the worse they get, so coaching might be issue. Barcola is on Par with Martinelli so a waste of money - reminds me of the Benzema Vs Giroud debate, Giroud's numbers were as good, or better, yet Benzema was valued at three times the price?
@BernardSamson-hf6fcCharles in the mirror before recording: "it's boo-ar-di, boo-ar-di... Okay let's go"
Charles during recording: "buyardo"
😂😂😂
Gabriel was fine. He and Marquinhos had no midfield support. Just a gapping hole in midfield and Morocco had a field day. Would LOVE Bouaddi at The Arsenal!
@byst017❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
@Opatade01Charles, I didn't think Gabriel was that bad, he was just missing his super partner😂As for Bouaddi, 60 to 70 mil will not do it imo! Unfortunately, there's no time to wait for "bigger sample sizes", he'll be snapped up in no time. There's no doubt in my mind that we need to get this Talent, 80 million would be a bargain.
@Johan-fv7chWhose position does he take ? By all these players were linked with , we’re buying a new squad
@PaulKingsbury-l8sAny update/confirmation on the Dani Olmo links coming from Spain?
@ponyboy1664Personally dont think WC is an indication of how well a player will be in PL. Different dynamics and style of play so players adapt to that rather than play in their usual way
@NorfLondon4Eva
