The point of merging spacex and tesla is that Elon can hide commercial failures at tesla with loads of "trust me bro, its the future" projects from spacex too keep pumping the stock price without having to actually show numbers

Dont fucking merge. I dont understand spaceX one bit. Super overvalued for years and probably decade plus to come. Keep it seperate this makes NO sense other then Musk consolidating his control. Im keeping my Tesla stock even now that robotaxi again and again isnt reaching any significant numbers. Man will use "justified thought" to back up his viewpoint whether the viewpoint is wrong or right. This is one of the aberrations of man. There are many more. Having said that I will continue to daytrade TSLA and have done QUITE well over a two year period. There are lots of players in the "cab" and "robot" game and frankly Musk has not delivered yet but has said he would for quite some time. I am not a Musk basher but I am into banking cash and this stock has been easy to daytrade and seemingly will be for a while yet. Sure, FOMO is a problem but I was having those thoughts two years ago too and have not been wrong YET. Another pretty bad down day for TSLA today and we won't even mention SPCX at this time. I am pulling for Musk but I don't rely on anyone for promises, Musk or NO ONE.

Very interesting to see the "Permabull" perspective continually on this channel and that is why I come here often. On the other hand I find a bit odd to never see any permabull say anything about "risk." And there is "risk." For years Musk has been saying "almost" and factually has said "by this date.... regarding taxi and other things. Still has not happened but no one seems to question that and that is odd, too far from moderation. I am pulling for Musk and his goals which are good but there is risk as others catch up and by the way this has not been a great long term investment (few years) for most and no arguing that unless you want to. I'll continue to day trade TSLA. Massive swings often.

I see great upside for the merger, but as someone else said, we have been investing and waiting for years for Tesla to solve FSD, car sales to hit 20 million, and robots to be in production. I know there is no guarantee on Tesla making a profit or even existing, but we have been told by you, Kathy Woods, and other bulls that Tesla will be worth $2,400-4,200 in the near future (2030). This number has been pushed back because of Covid, and FSD being harder to solve than expected etc. All that is fine, but I'm 57 and have planned on Tesla achieving these goals and having this or similar value, which I believe is very possible. I don't won't Tesla and SpaceX to merge if this means we have to wait for SpaceX to "catch up" and hold Tesla back for many years to feed capital into them while our stock doesn't "go to the moon". Without a clear plan to show us that Tesla can be worth $2,500 or more by 3031 then I will be voting against this merger.
