I applied 3 times. Got waitlisted 2nd time and multiple acceptances last go round. Now I’m a 4th year. I definitely would’ve waited 1st time if I had to redo it.

There is a topic in research I am interested in and was hoping to do the masters then try to go into medical school. I guess I just want to know if I might be shooting myself in the foot? Thanks!
@uvy3908I’m a 55 year old with a marketing degree. I don’t have all prerequisites quite yet and haven’t done any volunteering or shadowing. I have heard I need to take a test called the MCAT as well. My question is, should I delay my application a cycle so I can get into a good MD program(will not consider DO because I want a competitive residency)? I would hate to be labeled a “re-applicant” and have to repeat the process.
