Be careful in the neighborhoods immediately north, East, and south of the Historic Center. Those areas are sketchy at best and potentially unsafe after sunset.

I was there the first days of June 2025, the food is the best in the world! The Pyramid of the Sun, downtown, Chapultepec, Xochimilco, so many museums, and so much more. Yup, and I drove there, but as a Californian, I could handle it.

Any family spots. I have a really big family and they all love me a lot. Sometimes too muchos gravias!

Mexico City is a great city, if you are afraid to come, then not. You wouldnt get it. It is the pinnacle of Mesoamerica I would say. I mix of Spanish and Native cultures.

Why didn't they give him the travel to Mexico show on CNN instead of Eva Longoria...not a peep of well spoken Spanish to begin with. He had so much more information and narrative.

As a Mexico City born resident I have to say Diego knows his stuff. Listen to his advice if you want to experience this unique city for real.

Diego got one wrong. By the round pyramid of Cuicuilco the concert hall is called Sala Olin Yoliztli. Sala Nezahualcóyotl is inside the National University.
