ABOUT CONDE NAST TRAVELER
I am a Mexican American professional musician, I live in Las Vegas and I am ready to start a new adventure. I spent much of my childhood in Monterrey Mx and have always dreamt of going back but I have slowly been falling in love with the idea of moving to Mexico City and soon will if all goes as planned. Any recommendations of were to start both musically and housing wise? Spanish was my first language and still speak it well so I can definitely get around communicating wise

@SnowGiant.9🫶
@AnamikaDas-c7l6fI'm sorry, but the combination of English and Spanish sounds awful. 😳🙄
@palbau-6579I went there for the first time in my life. For one week and I want to go back. Mi familia es de Filipinas pero yo entiendo muchas pelabras en espanol de Filipino.
@legacyteam5581Museo Anahuacalli ❤ museo Dolores Olmedo
@abherran08I would love to visit Mexico City, especially the markets and restaurants!!! Thank you, Mr Luna.
@FinarfinNoldorinBe careful in the neighborhoods immediately north, East, and south of the Historic Center. Those areas are sketchy at best and potentially unsafe after sunset.
@AgathaLOutahereI was there the first days of June 2025, the food is the best in the world! The Pyramid of the Sun, downtown, Chapultepec, Xochimilco, so many museums, and so much more. Yup, and I drove there, but as a Californian, I could handle it.
@Yal13meAny family spots. I have a really big family and they all love me a lot. Sometimes too muchos gravias!
@shikhasagana375“Places to avoid” y ponen la cumbia de barrio atrás… y uno dice “ahí viene el clasismo…” pero no, respondió bien Luna. El editor nos gambeteó nomas…

@pancholitachiu23Mexico City is a great city, if you are afraid to come, then not. You wouldnt get it. It is the pinnacle of Mesoamerica I would say. I mix of Spanish and Native cultures.
@victorcubas7248It was barely ok before he insulted the English language then it become a big nope.

@Eph3mmeSan Angel, as in the Book of Life?! ❤
@cynthiahernandez2673Why didn't they give him the travel to Mexico show on CNN instead of Eva Longoria...not a peep of well spoken Spanish to begin with. He had so much more information and narrative.
@validusvita5908Don't forget Teotihuacan and Xochimilco!
@kansasgoldilocksMexico City is definitely on my bucket list. I also want to be there when the president does El Grito. It’s so cool they do that.
@muckymucksAs a Mexico City born resident I have to say Diego knows his stuff. Listen to his advice if you want to experience this unique city for real.
@justcallmesandoDiego got one wrong. By the round pyramid of Cuicuilco the concert hall is called Sala Olin Yoliztli. Sala Nezahualcóyotl is inside the National University.
@RodrigoVargas72Now get Gael to talk about Guadalajara ❤
México City is one of my favorites cities to visit. Gorgeous, so many wonderful and cultural places to visit.

@anonymous_Info1:38 "La Espina", painted by Raúl Anguiano, is NOT inside the Anthropology Museum, it's inside the Modern Art Museum (Museo de Arte Moderno).
5:46 No offense, but what a ridiculously bad tip, Diego, no manches (I hope you are kidding)... Most museums and other touristy places have signs in English... You are going to scare tourists away...🤦♀ BTW, te urgen clases de inglés, brother. Yo soy profesora y guía de turistas, cuando gustes...
Love Mexico. F Guatemala😂😂
@kittywhiskerzThank you, Gracias!…❤
@hugomiranda8185I visited the Anthropological museum. It was more than a museum; an exhibition, time machine, experience...
And you need more than 2 hours. Much more. 🤩
