I am a āretiredā ICU RN following 27+ years on 3rd shift in a community hospital setting. I knew a physician who was a little like House. One time there were 2 physicians one each on a side of the bed trying to put a central line in a patient with sepsis. When the one physician got a line ināas he was suturing it to the skin he said to me that if the patient pulled it outāI should just put it back in. I was trying to stifle a laughāwhen he said āIām serious.ā Then the other physician chuckled. Iām thinking to myself, yeah right, I will put that line right back in. Please noteāI do not mean to make light of a serious situation. But the physician telling me to replace a central line if the patient pulled it out was so ridiculous it was hard not to chuckle at it. And thatās one of Houseās thingsābeing so ridiculous in his conversations with the other physicians. His sarcasmāit makes the others think if he is being serious or sarcastic or is there any truth to what he says or suggests, etc., etc., etc., For those who donāt work in these type of settingsāwhen under life and death stress, it is not unusual to throw in a little humor. Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Paramedics, EMTās, Soldiers in combat, and so on all do this to keep the stress level down, and their BPās too! ā¤ļøšā¤ļø

Like to comment about season five episode 18: titled Here Kitty this where cat lay next to the dying patient which Doctor House messing with kurten on his superstition by dumping salt on the table, putting a ladder near the office door. In episode 19: titled Lock in: Kurten was solve the case by noticed a finger cut rat pee is what caused the patient finger played by Yasiin Bey aka Dante Terrell Smith aka Mos Def, episode 20: titled simple explanation Kurten commits suicide by shooting himself: my question to the writers who are Russel Friend, Garret Lerner, David Foster is why didnāt you take different avenue so many different ways Kurten could have been written off the show I understand stand that Kal Penn was ask by the President to be apart of his administration. None those showed Dr. Kurten having depression. There was prior episode talking about patients being suicidal. So many deffent ways House could fired him for destroying hospital equipment so forth.

Every character in this show clearly lets their personal drama effect how they see every case but itās never more obvious than with Cameron and 13.
The daughter talking about her momās preferred positions always makes me uncomfortable. People please donāt tell your kids stuff like that thereās a difference between not sheltering your kids and actively trying to give them issues in the future.
