Ordinary Americans simply need to turn out in numbers and register as Democrats or Republicans and then vote in the primaries, so that both parties have honest competent candidates. Americans seem to think politics is a spectator sport rather than a civic duty.

2029 needs to be the year the 28th Amendment is adopted: Felons cannot be eligible to run for President; any President convicted of a felony loses the right to hold the Lifetime title of President; all Presidential Pardons must gain 2/3 support from the House and 50% of the Senate.
Then move on increasing the Surpreme Court from 9 to 13 sitting members. Outlaw the gerrymander, introduce Preferential Voting at least at the Federal level for House and Senate. Time to put a crack in the 2 party strangle hold. Keep fine tuning your democracy as the times change. Freedom is a living thing that requires both protection and nourishment.

19:00 I am a genX (just-79) and I know exactly the cause of this feeling on not getting ahead and I know exactly what caused it. After the war, financial boom, credit, cheap production cost, invent the middle class. As a child I grew up in relative luxury, with all the latest mod cons and gadgets of the time. My father had already worked in his career for 30 odd years and had got himself into a decent position with a decent income, I was bought the newest pc at the time, we had the biggest TV, nice car and this is the lifestyle I had gotten accustomed to.
Suddenly I turn 18 I have to move out and I have to pay for stuff myself I can't afford the life I'm used to and I moan about it. I curse that I suddenly have to work 15-hour days just to just afford the basics, because I'm starting my working career at the bottom and I am getting the lowest minimum wage possible. I need 30 years to catch up with where I started off at!!
Yes, things have got relatively more expensive as time goes on, but you can blame capitalism for that. things being made at the lowest cost and sold at the highest price, that's just the price you pay for the country you live in.
You if you carry on working you will get to a decent standard eventually by the time you retire and you can enjoy your retirement in comfort. You're not going to get to a decent standard of living after 3 months of working at a starter job.

I have watched your videos on multiple YT channels for a long time. I have witnessed your urge to fact check, express doubt, and stay open minded through most topics. Yet, I have never felt reassured that you actually think that the negative outweigh the positive (?) outcome of the current administration.
