American Odds Explained: How Do American Odds Work?
Video Overview & Insights
American Odds are most popular in the United States. Working differently for favorites and underdogs, they’re also known as Moneyline Odds.
but what if I wanted to win $101 ?
In this video from casino.us, we illustrate the concept with American Football.
If you’re new to sports betting, the odds are usually listed in one of three ways: American, fractional, or decimal. American odds work a little differently to the others.
America always makes things difficult. It is stupid. What is like to know is how to figure the -110 or +150 or whatever. Tell us that.
The odds for a favorite team to win the game are usually listed with a ‘-’ sign, which indicates the amount a better would need to bet to win $100.
For the underdogs, the odds are accompanied by a ‘+‘ sign. This shows how much a better would win if they staked $100.
Americans are weird…. You think they’re normal because they speak English, albeit a fucked up version, but they’re not.
