Can it be that the piano at the beginning and throughout the song is intentionally out of tune? I may be wrong, but if I hear this correctly, that's such a cool touch, like an old piano in a western saloon

This feels like it could be from a musical where Lavinia is an inkeep and aspiring performer in a town that's played by a werewolf and two sleazy yet smooth talking travelling scam artists offer to make her a star by lying to the people that she's the werewolf as a part of her act, meanwhile she and the actual werewolf fall in love when her face is the only thing that brings him back from total beasthood, the scam artists find out about this, and while this act goes on the resident werewolf hunter kidnaps the two scam artists for information about Lavinia but they sell out the real werewolf, the hunter then goes to slay him and both die in front Lavinia, she drinks the werewolf's blood to contract lycanthropy and then slaughters the two scam artists and that's where it ends... or is that just me?
