…I’ll be frank, I was very skeptical and critical of your overall direction since not necessarily 2017, but since 2019 or especially 2021.

I thought the direction you were trying to go was to definitively break away from your pre-post YouTube Poop era, which seemed very much certain after you unfortunately private all of them except your first one in August 2021, nearly 5 years ago.

And when clicking on this video, I thought it was to represent the same trend, of a YouTuber, who seemed unfortunately completely or significantly different enough from the absolute unwavering shining light that was the biggest influence and inspiration I ever had during the entire entirety of my high school and two first college years.

I am more than possibly not just pleased, but more possibly elated than that to even have a glint of hope that this video is showing defensive signs to prove that hunch I have dead wrong.

There were certain things in this video I saw that not only seem to prove my suspicions wrong, but were also both certain things that you continue to use from 2016, 10 years ago, the year that I would personally argue was when much of your best ever content was released (the use of the man in your legendary “*WHY*” meme template is one of them) and on top of that, this video features arguably some of the most inspired music and media choices for a video of this particular nature that I have ever seen.

I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I was when I heard you put in a track created by the same composer responsible for “Mars—The Bringer of War” into this video, followed by another very much classic stringed composition piece that all I can describe as being is that it sounds of a similar vibe of Coldplay stringed music— not to mention one more profound realization, which was at unsurprisingly, you may or may not have made this video genuinely because this year happened to be our countries 250th anniversary.

I’m someone that loves to give credit where it’s due, and there is a lot in this video to give credit for, and for the first time in possibly years, it has once more bolstered expectations of the type of creativity and willingness to be completely independent minded with no regard for anything else in any new creations of yours.

I’m very interested to see if you’ll make any new videos in the future that carries this type of intention or trend that hopefully this one will set.
