We live in a world of idiots right now.

Narration from a person who has never seen it? FooKuuOka is where I married the love of my life in 1960. Hakata is where we lived for two years. Followed by Misawa, Miyakonojo and Mimitsu. "Famous food stalls", AKA yatai, are a great place to absorb a little culture, and if you're lucky some world-famous Hakata ramen. While on Kyushu you should visit the Chiran Peace Museum. It is south of the city of Kagoshima. It wasn't built for tourists, but as a true memorial to those who lost their lives as kamikaze. An emotional experience to be sure!

@christiansvensson3571The Fansipan Peak Budha statue in Sa Pa Vietnam is much larger than this so I wouldn't say that the TΕdai-ji temple's Budha statue is the largest but who cares about what its made off. The size matters and TΕdai-ji is a baby Budha comparing to the Fansipan Peak Budha statue around 3143m above sea level hiding in fog.
