You should have given us some examples while playing

When I explain poker hands to people, I don’t even include Royal Flush as one of the hand types. It just feels unnecessary and gets more confusing since it basically is “just” the highest possible straight flush, and not really a hand with a separate system. All you need to know is that a higher ranked type of hand beats a lower ranked type of hand, and that high cards break the tie if several players get the same hand type.

In first hand: Straight Flush > Four of a Kind > Full House > Flush > Straight > Three of a Kind > Two Pairs > One Pair > High Card

In second hand: A > K > Q > J >10 > 9 > 8 > 7 > 6 > 5 > 4 > 3 > 2

He forgot to mention you can get a straight with any face card if you have 4 other cards in numerical sequence like K,10,9,8,7. You can also get one if you have 4 face cards in sequence and a 10 like A,K,Q,J,10.

What about if you have three pairs or if you have two three of a kinds or a four of a kind with a pair

Flushes DO NOT appear more than straights EVER. IN NO UNIVERSE. Dude just a little fruity and constipated lmao. Nah but that's funny he says that it shows his skill level he probably folds to a min-raise on the flop with an open ended straight because the numbers aren't in order, and in the next hand will jam all in after seeing 2 cards on the flop that have the same suit as his hole cards. (Which is less than 35% chance he will turn or river his flush) because he's the best at recognizing when the color coded symbol pictures are the same and that you need 5 for a flush and a flush is a strong hand lol. Probably folds gut shots when checked, and raises everytime he turns the second suited card hey it's a 2four but they got diamonds and if this rivers a diamond I gotta flush...all in!

I've probably had about 6 or 7 royal flushes in my 8 years playing which is rare. Some people never see one. A few only 1 card played but I've also flopped some, turned some, and rivered some.
