Welcome to Cowboy Film Archive! 🤠

Step into the world of classic Westerns and timeless cowboy adventures. Our channel is dedicated to bringing you the best old-school cowboy films, from legendary gunfights to epic showdowns.

Everyone always talks about Bette Davis’s gown from the party scene but I always preferred Marilyn’s sweetheart gown with the rose. Both so beautiful.

— @Violette2102

A seemingly timid but secretly ruthless ingénue insinuates herself into the lives of an aging Broadway star and her circle of theater friends.

Genre: Drama

This movie is SO triggering but I love it. Trying to convince a man that a woman is sneaky is harder than climbing Mt Everest.

— @Violette2102

Director: Joseph L. Mankiewicz

Writers: Joseph L. Mankiewicz, Mary Orr

Who needs enemies with friends like Karen?😢

— @ПетроваЛюдмила-с9щ

1950, what a year! This is one of my favorite films!❤

There are ppl like Eve, and in those circles I’d say more than enough…😂😂😂 show business is a horribly difficult business, no friends, ppl must be beyond ruthless in order to survive….. that’s why other ppl decide not to pursue a dream that will become a nightmare very soon……😮

@johannahidalgo7738

Let's all agree ... Bette's hair deserved its own
Oscar....it's beautiful and styled fabously! And it acts its own story!

Just had the pleasure of watching this movie on another channel with No Adverts. (Internet Archive) Such a masterpiece in every way, one of those Hollywood dramas that made 1950's cinema so unique.

They should have known she was calculated when she knew Mrs. Richard's name.

20th Century Fox took full advantage of name dropping it’s top contract players in the making of this movie; ie. Tyrone Power, Gregory Peck, and Betty Grable. lol. I believe this was Betty Davis’ best performance of her career. She should have won the Academy Award in ‘51. 2Oth Century Fox wanted one of their own contract players, Anne Baxter to be nominated for best actress instead of best supporting actress and they basically cancelled one another out. Anne even admitted this later. However, I believe George Sanders performance was superb, the finest of his career. He deserved the award for best supporting actor. No one has ever played a more sophisticated cad than George Sanders. It was long overdue. His major US movie was 1936 Lloyd’s of London under his new contract with Fox. He was an instant star, playing a snobbish cad and antagonist to Tyrone Power. It was also Tyrone Power’s first leading role in a film. He too, was a huge star over night, shot straight to the top as the studios matinee idol. They were lifelong friend and did several movies together. Power died of a massive heart attack with Sanders in ‘58 while filming a demanding sword fight on stage, while filming Solomon and Sheba’. Sanders was not a trained swordsman as Power was and after about the twentieth take, Power collapsed. Power died in the car on the way to the closest hospital. George Sanders was a very sensitive man, and burst into tears when he learned the news. He talks about it in his autobiography. In his book, there is a picture of Power’s empty chair in the set with his name on the back of it. From what I understand, he blamed himself. He was a man who had bouts of depression and told David Niven decades before that he would commit suic*** when he was 65 yrs. old, which was exactly what he did. In one of Davis’ interviews in later life, she said George Sanders was her favorite character actor. I agree with her. He was so talented and a very humble man. He both sang baritone and played the piano beautifully. RIP George.❤️

I had a strange twist with this film--- I had never seen it--- I was Dr. Zhivagoed by an older (63 to my 28) wanna be foreign "director" and his wanna be lawyer "producer" and that experience led me to Los Angeles--- Evil place--- here this guy basically made everyone believe I was like this character-- not truly innocent or kind--- and one of the folks he hoodwinked into this asked me directly --- "did you ever see the film 'all about eve'?" implying that was me--- so far from the truth--- if anyone was like Eve it was that foreign director--- later that camera man apologized when he realized I was not at all false or evil but in fact his "friend" that "director" was--- that man destroyed not only his family but any and all he could use he did--- it was by far the most divestating experience of my life I will not put here-- but I did finally see this film-- and it is fantastic---- but just wow when I realized what that man implied when he asked me that---- I met alot of people and men and women in LA that were exactly like this character Eve--- LA is an evil evil evil place-- and only God sustained me there and though I made bad choices in "friends" God kept me safe and kept me from the worst of it---- I thank God every day I did not become "famous" or the like--- Thank you GOD forever thank you--- may God take LA and all places like it and remove it from the earth---- if it is His will

One of the best films ever made! IMP. I've seen this 1950 classic maybe 100 times. Every time I see it, it's brand new. Every moment in this film is brilliant. Joe Mankiewicz's script is sheer magic. Delivered by each star with blistering reality.
It held the record for the most nominated film, '14' in Hollywood history, for close to 50 years.
Some movies, like books, are to be tasted, others swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested. 'H.Ellis'

One of my favorite BD movies! Eve is a pretentious, little climber, to who used Margo and Karen with her phoney act, and innocent behavior. She gets it in the end with Dewitt. Love all their
attitudes at the award night. Total disgust, Lol! 🙄😉 Karma Miss Eve. 😁 👏🏼👏🏼

One of the reasons I watch these movies - apart from the fact they are classic in a way they don't make them anymore - is because of the outfits. The dresses, the menswear, the coats, the hats. Too bad we stopped dressing like that. 😢❤

Looking that those mink coats make me wonder how many minks it took to make them? Minks are small animals, and you can really only use their backs, maybe their stomachs. Either way, you can't get more than a square foot from each animal and their fur as got to match perfectly.

Eve was a psychopath all the way. When Eve was taking bows with Margo's dress that would have set a red flag for me. That was a very creepy scene!!!

One of the best movies ever made. The acting is impeccable. I love this movie since I was in my 30's. I know the lines by heart. The characters are so real you feel as if you know them.

I'm so glad to have the opportunity to tell the world this is the best movie ever made ! I don't know why I think that, but I do know thousands think so too. What's it's magic I wonder? The story is a good one, the casting is excellent, black and white suits the moral tale and look at Marilyn Monroe starting out on her colourful journey. This film has so much to offer with something gripping in every moment. I'm also a committed Bette Davis fan, but you'd never guess!

Fabulous. Whip smart dialogue. And George Sanders. A one off, most British cynic, he must have been like that in real life.He plays the same caddish part in every film, and it never gets stale. Perfect.

As much as I cannot stand Eves character, and what she did. If I were her in the end, I would’ve told him to do his worst. His character I absolutely loathe!!! but the whole time I was saying good enough good enough good enough I was so happy. Thank you sharing this gem of a movie. ❤

What a great movie, the dialogue and acting superb. Bette Davis amazing as always. Sad the way 40yrs old was considered old in those days and the soft focus on the female actors as if they are not already attractive enough.

I worked with a girl like eve at a retirement home. She was sweet and complimentary - everybody's friend - until you turned your back! She would run to the boss with every little incident she thought would get others in trouble - even if she had to make things up. Of course the boss ate it up and when she retired she recommended amy for the job. After she got the job she quit talking to the old boss and stopped playing the innocent to the rest of the staff! Thankfully she didn't last long at the retirement home!

I love this movie. I watched it while I made gourmet meals for the lucky pups whose parents ordered them at the luxury boarding facility where I am the manager. I can almost recite it line for line. The time flew by.
