Some may say well novak, carlos, and sinner weren't in this final. Be that as it may, he still had to win the tournament. The pressure and expectation for Zverev to win this Final was higher than ever.

Why don't dudes just let the ball bounce before going for the smash? lol
Federer was also notorious for such blunders in critical moments

He’s probably thinking what LeBron James said OUT LOUD at the end of the 2012 finals

As a Djokovic fan there is nobody else whom I would wish to win the GS but you Sasha. Congratulations. Two Russians that win the GS at the same time. The winner takes it all.

When he lost the tiebreaker of the 4th set, it looked as if the momentum would shift to Flavio Cobolli, whose Italian supporters cheered emotionally whenever he landed a good shot.

But, in the 5th set Zverev did not win on account of superior tennis. He won because Cobolli could not get his first-service inside the permitted area of Zverev's court, so that he had to score with his much weaker second-service. That gave Zverev unique chances to break the service game of Cobolli, which Zverev would not have gotten otherwise. The game had a lot of suspense, and there were some nice court exchanges, but overall Cobolli benefitted from lots of unforced errors on the part of Zverev and vice versa.
Some media outlets hailed the French Open final victory for Zverev as sort of a "can opener", giving him more confidence for other Grand Slam matches. HOWEVER; I dare to preedict that Zverev will not win an other Grand Slam this year.... or next year for that matter....
