@SKS80800:25 There was no semi-finals or finals. It was a round robin tournament. It USA-Soviet Union and Finland-Sweden were semifinals, how come a tie between Finland and Sweden puts Finland into "final" against USA, and Finland loses and does not get silver medal, but Soviets do?
It was all about wins and points in games where two top teams from two preliminary groups met in round robin medal round.
USA finished with 2-1-0 and five points, winning the gold.
Soviets finished with 2-0-1 and four points, winning the silver.
Sweden finished with 0-2-1 and two points, winning the bronze.
Finland finished with 0-1-2 and one point, and 4th.
Kimmel is the worst interviewer of all time. He must have sucked someone off to get this job.

@nickssoxAl, I actually was a 9 year old boy at the time. My dad had died a year earlier, and I had few occasions to smile in those dark days. But even now nearly 40 years later I remember the thrill of watching the Miracle on Ice.
