So I live in Australia and I won't lie that I hated the UK and could never move back there. But the 2 years I spent in Brighton I loved it. I had an awful time through high school and moving there was a fresh start. Found my confidence and made some great friends and a lot of good memories
But I also had what they call the 'travel bug' so was always going to move on eventually

It's also worth noting that Brighton has lots of graffiti art scattered all over, and plenty of weirdly scenic spots tucked away if you let yourself wander a bit.

@lanyhardwick3942Great info. I'm actually popping down from Scotland for a few days to explore. Rudyard Kipling's English home would be fun to explore. He married an American and moved to their home in Dummerston, VT, USA. I used to live near it. He wrote The Jungle Book there in 1894. They called the house Naulakha. It was huge back in its time. Vine-covered and mystical when I was living in the town.

@Andrew-kc4liI enjoyed Brighton only visited 2 weeks ago. I stayed in a nice b&b 5 minutes away from king alfred swimming pool.for the kids. Definitely be back in summer holidays.
