9 Uncomfortable Signs You're Healing Emotionally
Video Overview & Insights
Healing is not easy. There’s a lot of stigma regarding going to therapy and doing any independent inner self work. It’s seen as something that either weak or crazy people do. That’s not true. It might not be 100% easy, but healing is a journey that leads to deep fulfillment that nothing outside of you could shake or take away. Here are a few uncomfortable signs you're healing emotionally, even if you don't feel like.
KEEP IN MIND: healing is not linear. some days, you will feel like you've fully moved on then the next day all the pain will come flowing back. that is NORMAL. even when you feel like you're back to square one, you're not. relapsing IS a sign of healing, it is a sign of progress. you're doing great and i'm proud of you. you keep going 🤍

A lot of healing looks ordinary before it feels obvious. Being a little less reactive, a little more honest with yourself, and a little more open to support can be real progress even when it still feels slow.

Make sure you go to therapy because it will do nothing and then you can blame yourself more but have less money.

I started on a much needed healing when I was 26. I am now 69. I have been disturbed and without peace the whole time. Have the wounds from my childhood be that severe?
@storeymarkI'm recovering slowly trusting more people becoming more talkative socializing and understanding my memories experiences giving them answer why it happened
@gusteberthi why i loose my spark in the process
@keymadeHealing isn't linear, and this video perfectly captures the raw truth of that journey. Number 5 really hits home—understanding that distress is part of the process makes it a bit easier to keep moving forward. Thank you Psych2Go for another insightful guide! 🧠✨"
@ZenithSynclove all this 9… so on point so relatable, sending hugs to everyone❤
@whispersofslowlivingDealing with yourself is not for the weak
@angelbaby9137Im not in a healing process but i hope so I'll be
@Ahmad-cu9hpWoah I like her voice ☺️
@JoycenjaginnlI paused my healing year and half ago - couldn't stand the pain. Now I have kept NC with my mother (2 months) and it's triggering a reaction/healing. I want to face it so I get it over with and move on.
@KatieYT343Yes i feel i am healing
@amyamalakarThank you for this! #IAmHealing
@KatThePRPrac78all u need is to face it
@ethanlukemapanao6682The process really sucks! Because it's not just acknowledging current feelings, you have to process what you buried. I'm still getting pain bubbles as I call them popping up. But it's worth it, as much as I hate the crying.
@darkangel0388Learning to create boundaries feel my emotions and stand up for myself.
that came out as kind of starting to raise my voice at my partner a bit tonight...I wish I wouldn't have raised my voice, but it was very important to me to get the feelings out about something that had been done. I think this is part of the healing process, not just holding it in but speaking it out even if it's not done perfectly. so while I didn't say everything perfectly, at least I said it and expressed my feelings even if it was done in an imperfect way.
,,but.. with high risk, comes high reward"
It's such an amazing reward when in these moments appear 🤍 (I'm a social anxiety fighter 🤜🤛🤜) Sometimes I think I've done nothing at all, but other times I see a completely different person in myself (never thought I'd actually say that!). It really is truly amazing. I'm really doing amazing. Just recently scared because someone in a group sticked out a leg to trip me, and I'm scared they'll hurt me. I did ask for help though. I will be safe. Repeating to myself ,,You're safe here. I'm here with you" is one of really helpful things I do. I shouldn't care what they think at all, because their selfish heads don't give a crap about me but only themselves. I am very uncomfortable and angry though. I never deserved to be treated the way they treat me in my new class. Now I feel like I'm not enough, but the great news is I'm definitely angry enough to prove them wrong. Or more like, prove to myself it's bullcrap. I've known it's okay to make mistakes, and I learned that it's just part of the process and means I'm learning right now, but I also need to see someone notice it, too. I know my validation doesn't need anyone else's approval to be valid, even when it feels impossible to believe. But I do need literally one single person to just notice that. Hard to believe in the validation of things you say, if your whole family keeps carving into your brain that everything you say is worthless, stupid and straight up lying. I definitely need to work on that. Thanks to my mother, who absolutely ruined my whole life and health, the way I think about all the people around me and myself, to control me when she feels like it. Beyond disguisting.
😊❤
@shanimaker6281Still so relevant. I'm healing & when you hit those bumps, oh do they want to make you just throw it all in. But, you look back & see all the healing you've done & you push on. Healing is not for the weak!
@deec6588I really love this channel cuz it's so nice & funny and its information is so useful, all the videos I've seen from your channel helped me to realize the problems I have in my life that I haven't even noticed, thank you ❤
@user-jg1eo5vf4rI relate with every point 😇 healing is a long process.take your time to heal yourself.😊❤
@garimatandey9102I am feeling like modern society counters my healing. It's like you process things and then there's layoffs at your job, you're the one on the list for "low performance" you ask them why and how it's measured you get vague replies, you end up leaving pushed back into survival mode. Rinse and repeat. Am I the only one?
@SoloByteStudio2/9...
@maria_cruz881. Step doin now after years very freaking umcomfy but hey we got this lads!
@whatthehelly-6I’m on everything except 6, 8 and 9. I still have the ‘I don’t need help I can carry it myself’ mentality. I’m honestly just so confused right now because I’m not sad but I’m not happy I’m just kind of… hollow ngl.
@mydaysreinventedI only need a friend to hear me so I can reconnect to myself, but my exam and late homework because trying to heal by myself makes it worse 😢
@randobradoThanks for uploading this video It help us to know that whatever we are going through is a sign of growth or not..😊❤
@ashwanianish3569I thought i have been healing but i barely related to two of the signs! Am i doing something wrongly? If i know one thing for sure, it's that i don't have a clear healing plan and i don't know how to make one! And for the time being, i can't afford a therapist 😢
@shuichimelissaThis explains a lot about how I’ve been feeling lately.
@Dreamtimestories9I have found that others who seem happy but not actually fully healed and complain alot actually can't listen to how you are moving through your healing and it's made me recognise who to talk too and when and where like not everyone is capable of those healing deeper conversations and only like to talk about themselves and or idle chit chat which is fine to an extent but doesn't promote growth mentality and support it's pretty shallow actually. I feel better for choosing to take responsibility for my healing and will feel more growth in it when I initiate seeing a chosen trauma informed therapist this week after my doctor's appointment. Feeling optimistic about it.
@RebeccaGombos-x4rIts been over a year since my break up with my partner. Recovering is a slow pace but im getting been knowing that I'm getting over the hurt, pain, and toxic narcissistic trauma he gave me unfortunately. But at the end Im glad to heal and move on with my life. Im doing more things without him being in my life because that free feeling feels amazing and I'm able to explore that leaving a toxic narcissistic partner was the best thing because now I'm capable of growing up and exploring more in me mentally and emotionally. Trauma may hit but I'm slowly getting over the pain one day at a time. Im happy to be single and live a free life 😌
@VentuskeymasterYeah it was really helpful❤
@persiandnI can't say that I'm doing all of these but I have a few that I can say I'm doing these. It gives me hope that I am on the right path. Even if I'm at the beginning
@naytheweywardWhen life gives u lemons make lemon aid 😊
@MichealBell-c2zHi I’m Sav and I’m a highschool student , I’ve been through a decent amount throughout my time so far but I don’t think I’m really healing yet, I’m made a lot of progress but even now I’m still closed off , when I think about this to much I remember that healing isn’t liner , I may not be as far into healing as I want to be but I am still healing, and that means something, just like it means something for all of you in similar or different situations like or unlike mine, we are all still here and we are all still fighting and getting through the hard stuff so be proud that you’ve come this far ❤❤❤ I know I am :)
@ischeesepizzaI so needed to hear this. Over the last year after a mental health crisis have I began to do the work of childhood SA trauma. ♥
@BeyoutifulBadassIm healing, but why do i still want to kill myself,why I'm i always so scared,why do i feel so much pain all the time, is this part of healing?
Probably not,i just want to be happy
Very nice and useful explanation of healing process. Hope it will help me as I am going through the same.
@sanjeevsharma-bs5muI loved this.
@simiancinema2022Healing sucks but i realise why i was the way i was and i just hate that hurt some very special people to me i tried to reach other after we got distant but i think that ship sailed and im trying to come to terms with it but eish i keep wanting to reconnect andi cant i thought i needed closer and maybei do but the situation doesnt alliw that i wantto forgive myself but even more so i want thatoerson to forgive me hopefully to rekindle our relationship but its all so much and maybe I should just let go but u cant. idk what to do
@edenmanyika9756This was so helpful. As I am healing and losing friends n making new connections. Somehow needed validation that I’m on the right track
@nelsidamelo4781This… ❤
@TheGentleGuidanceBoundaries. I’ve been so weak with this. I’m working on it. Stepping out of my comfort zone. I’ve done it a fair bit but this year I’m making leaps! Allowing others to help me has been another one I’m working on. I often carry heavy loads. Lots of burdens on my shoulders. I try to do everything myself and be incredible strong.
