Really appreciate the honesty here but my goodness, some of these are damaging habits. No downtime? Constant consumption? This is essentially encouraging mental health self-harm, and I’m surprised to see it from this channel.

So the basic point is you need to be obsessed with your time, in order to maximise output, yet there is an opportunity cost. What I see is that, in your 20's you focus on goals, and in 30's you learn to live with them, in 40's you settle down and teach your kids. We all end up in the same basic cycle of life.

— @sirijanthakur

Hey friends, in this video I'm sharing 7 habits that helped me build wealth in my 20s - but I'm also being quite honest about the costs that came with them. From constantly thinking about business to sacrificing health and relationships, these habits did make me financially free, but they also came with real trade-offs that I'm now trying to unlearn in my 30s. If you're on the journey of building a business or trying to get rich, I hope this gives you some inspiration but also some caution about what you might be giving up along the way.

This is life. It might seem like a toxic mindset not having time to enjoy life, just keep on focusing on work, and being in a constantly fast pace. But those periods are what gives you freedom in the later part of life.

wow this is really just a collection of horrible advice xD Glad you portrayed it like that though

What an interesting video. You have given me so much to think about. I am financially free - but have much more to achieve in terms of money and business expansion. I can say from experience, I spent my 40s into my early 50s grinding and grew my business and investments which have led to financial freedom now - but this came at a cost, which was I did not spend all the time I should have with my kids. I have a wonderful relationship with my kids (now in their 20s) but life is a series of trade-offs. You can't have it all - or I should say you can have it all but not at the same time. I then put my business on the back-burner to look after my beautiful mum and she passed in January of this year. I was her carer for 6.5 years with growing intensity. It is good to be ambitious and a high-achiever, but you have to pace it. I burnt out at the end of 2022, but continued to give at a pace which was not sustainable. I am now recovering and will come back once I am ready. Still more to do.

I totally agree. Those habits gives results, but... It has a price. I've experienced burnout and I had to stop, then I try again and... It's challenging. As he said it's difficult to switch off and stop. Everyone can make a choice. Best wishes to everyone ❤❤

One way to be productive while driving is to say Astaghfirullah and seek Allah’s forgiveness. This simple act earns rewards (hasanat) and brings blessings. As mentioned in the Qur’an, Allah will increase a person’s provision and wealth through sincere istighfar, while also granting strength and well-being.

Retired at 38, earning 45K biweekly… but honestly, the money isn't even the highlight. What means the most is having a family that stood by me when life was tough. I'm living the life I once prayed for. If you're still fighting your battles, don't lose hope — your season is coming. ❤

10-15 years of grind in 20s and 30s is a good sacrifice for 40-50 years of relatively relaxed life. ❤

At what point would you feel like? You have accumulated enough money and success to step away from the workplace question mark I see you have a family. And I wonder if maybe, instead of work life balance, you could just have life balance without the work considering your position at the moment.

@jofieraymond6528

This is the video I wish existed three years ago when I was making the exact tradeoff you're describing. The honest framing here is what separates it from the usual hustle content. Most productivity channels either glorify the grind or preach balance without acknowledging the real tension between the two. What resonated most was the idea that the price isn't always obvious until you've already paid it. That retrospective clarity is something you can only get from someone who's actually been through both sides. More of this reflective stuff, please.
