The part where dwight says that his mother was cold and distant and closer to being like an aunt , and that his aunt raised him , but he still feels like he raised himself , I think , is probably the saddest part of Dwight and even from the other stories that he's told like being shunned for not saving the oil can of tuna. sounds like it would've been a very bleak childhood.
