孤独のグルメ... I looked at 4 of those but there is no speaking or dialogue. It's just walking around the city and going into restaurants and close-up views of food. No Japanese learning....none that I could see.

@norinickrrostron9001Besides the good suggestions for shows to watch, I think this video is also good material for Japanese learners. I understood most of it by listening and reading just the Japanese subtitles. Your pronunciation was very clear to me.

Can someone help me out with how to learn kanji? Unlike other languages the single block is not same for all the words. Is memorising the only way?

I wanted to watch solitary gourmet after watching k foodie meets j foodie but in America it's not on Netflix..
@travis.808どう考えても『舞妓さんちのまかないさん』は中級者向けではない! なぜなら、そのテレビ番組に京都弁がバリバリ使われているからである。関西に住んでいる外国人にはさほどレベルが高くなかろうが、関西の方言に馴染みのない外国人にとっては難しすぎであろう。

@mikeg4691hi how about the netflix series Orange Days, a box of tissues is not enough you need a reservoir, brilliant acting from both sides collected multiple awards quite rightly so great series also a good way of learning japanese have a good day

最近、Netflixで「ホットスポット」「さようならのつづき」「マリと子犬の物語」「余命一年の僕が、余命半年の君と出会った話」など、いろいろな日本の映画を観ましたが、字幕なしで観るのはまだ難しかったです。
どれもとても良い映画だったので、おすすめです

my brain has been retired from school for a long time! Onagaishimasu for your recommendations, I will check them out. These 2 Netflix shows are fun to watch & listen to: The Hot Spot, and Midnight Diner, the original seasons. Alice in Borderland is a great show for story content but difficult to learn from, a few words here and there, but some of the character speak quickly! I wish I could live in Japan and be fully immersed with the language. Sink or swim.
