They leaned on memories, on tabloid speculation, debunked evidence. Zero to little new facts or information, all these recycled claims were already addressed in court which led to his acquittal. Is this the type of journalism you claim it was gonna bring fairness to the story? Michael has been acquitted on all counts and misdemeanors, he went through all the process of the trial, with a pro prosecution and conservative jury, a full legal process, a humiliating investigation, a draining media smear campaign against his name. This hit piece ends as if the verdict did not matter, as if it never really happened, with the clear goal in leaving the not so knowledgeable viewer with doubt rather than clarity, this isn’t storytelling this is an attempt in reshaping public memory. Netflix doc was a clear attempt for the prosecution to retry the case in the court of public opinion because they failed in court. It was 60-75% slanted towards the prosecution's version of events with less weight given to the defence (you know, the side that won in court). It also relies on people with very obvious conflicts of interest and massive credibility issues. It was a waste of time and had no business being made.
